TOUCH is an American band from New York City formed in 1978 with Mark Mangold (keyboards and vocals), Glenn Kithcart (drums), Craig Brooks (guitars and vocals) and Doug Howard (bass and vocals). All previously had been in the last version of the band American Tears (releasing three albums on Columbia Records). Touch's first album was released on Atco in the U.S. and Ariola in Europe and their first singles, "Don't You Know What Love Is" and "When The Spirit Moves You" charted on the Billboard Hot 100. "Don't You Know What Love Is" was played heavily on AOR stations in the USA at the end of the 1970s and early '80's, and also did well in the Melody Maker chart in Great Britain. Touch was the first band to play at the inaugural Monsters of Rock Festival at Castle Donington in 1980. A live version of "Don't You Know What Love Is" appeared on the compilation LP Monsters of Rock, documenting performances at the festival. Known for their memorable and diverse songs, stellar musicianship, lush vocal harmonies and dynamic stage performance, Touch is invariably on the list of TOP AOR Bands and their album is considered by many to be among the best AOR Melodic Rock albums of all time. The quartet have been releasing critically acclaimed music ever since the release of their debut album, ‘Life, Love, Loss’, in 2010. The group have gone from strength to strength over the course of four further studio albums and numerous tours, gaining fans all over the world with a sound that mixes classic, melodic and hard rock with contemporary influences that presents a personal, fresh and exciting mix of great music. Degreed are currently working on material for a brand new album that will be released towards the end of 2021. Singer/bassist Robin Ericsson states: “I can’t believe we’re about to release our sixth studio album. I am so proud of this band and I am very humbled that we are still around. And what could fit more perfectly than to release this album with Frontiers? The leading company when it comes to melodic rock and hard rock! Our new album will be just that…a more straightforward hard rock album with great melodies. The End Machine features former classic lineup Dokken members George Lynch and Jeff Pilson with the awesome singer Robert Mason (Warrant, Lynch Mob) on lead vocals. Classic Dokken drummer Mick Brown handled drums on the first album, but is now retired, so in his place behind the drum kit is none other than his brother Steve Brown. The new record builds on the great bluesy hard rock music of the debut, but sees the band move more towards the classic Dokken sound and the result is a 2.0 reboot of a killer music machine!
