Queen- The Show Must Go On I find pretty emotional!
I was also recently watching live performance of Gary Barlow (Lie to Me) on YT, kind of a sad song. I guess it's Gary's own Careless Whisper
Queen - The Show Must Go On
Gary Barlow - Lie to Me (Live)
so that would explain Tupac's recent induction into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, makes perfect sense
sounds to me like this is a term invented to refer to soft pop-rock? There is a website out of Denmark dedicated to it bluedesert.dk
some interesting a bit more obscure ones being posted here, however I have to post Survivor, a powerhouse of the genre imho
Survivor - Desperate Dreams
Whitesnake - The Deeper the Love, Is this Love would fit the type of songs that I consider perfect in Rock/AOR. Pretty famous songs i think, but I always enjoy coming back for a listen
cool, another thread with some drama
Anyway, Harlan Cage (As You Are), nice melodic ballad! Kind of reminds me of Waiting for a Girl Like You by Foreigner! Good stuff!
anyone like anything from Deutschland? Pop, Rock, Schlager....?
These I found online, not bad. And Nena still looks good!
Nena - Wir Sind wahr
H & N - LA
Helene Fischer - Atemlos Durch die Nacht
Thomas Anders - Der beste Tag Meines Lebens
Beatrice Egli - Mein Herz
nice Disco cover of The Spencer Davis Group (original co-written by Steve Winwood).
Macho - I'm a Man (1978)
The Spencer Davis Group - I'm a Man (1966)
Chicago - I'm a man (1970)
just a random topic. I know that Jon Bon Jovi was in a few flicks. Anyone else?
I like Don Johnson's music releases (Heartbeat, Voice on the phone, Lost in your eyes).
Mr.AOR, Modesty is great, however style I think is more like Pop/AOR similar to Johnny Hates Jazz or Breathe. But Modesty is a fantastic band, great tunes, one of my top online discoveries
Here is another recent synthpop that I liked
Distain - A Million Engines
song from new Alphaville album, this one sounds a bit like their classic Forever Young
Alphaville - Handful of Darkness (2017)

off the top of my head:
Train - hey soul sister ain't that Mr Mister on the radio
Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
Blue Mercedes - I want to live like Cyd Charisse..
Boney M - Rasputin
