  1. I love all their cds since Johnny joined. Can't wait to hear the new stuff!!
  2. Quick Update on Guitarist and Song Writing! Song writing is proceeding as planned and going very well indeed. We are quite sure some of the new stuff will turn some heads... Up and down, in a good way! A quick explanation would be, a little back to the darker "Afterlife" days mixed with some trademark NR catchy melodies - those that can never go wrong! On the guitarist front - the search has not ended, but we have a few very interesting candidates now, that sound out of this world...So just some logistics and then we'll jam and see where that leads us... We'll let you all know once WE know... Talk soon, /The Band
  3. Tonight, Jay Leno did his last Tonight Show. On Monday, the new host is Conan O'Brien. I have never liked Conan so I guess I'll start watching Letterman again. What do you all think about the change?
  4. Wow... right after releasing a new album. I never did like Fox's vocals compared to the first singer, although I agree they are near identical. Hope the band continues on with a new singer!
  5. Did you like my comment? I wrote "I'd rather see her playin' with herself!"
  6. I also prefer FarCry to the Rockarma stuff. Good luck Pete!! Keep rockin'!!
  7. If anybody wants to hear this, shoot me a PM.
  8. Hardcore Superstar - "We Don't Celebrate Sundays"
  9. Has anyone ever heard of the band GRANIT? Just checked out their new self-titled disc and it is pretty awesome. It's been getting constant spins in my cd player (along with High Noon). I can't find much info on them though. I did find this page: http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/groupe-grou...ranit-l-en.html Granit Genres Hard Rock Status Formed In Active 1994 Country Switzerland (Berne, Berne) Current line-up Adi Zeller : Guitar Oli Schürch : Bass Role Wyss : Drums Ädu Leu : Vocals Luk "Taz" Spoon : Guitar Former/Past members Others bands/comments Retro Hirschi : Vocals Marco Spozio : Bass Mitch Koontz : Bass (Godiva (Che)) Luke Hard : Vocals Markus Brechbühlam : Drums Harry Jetzer : Vocals Peter Gander : Drums (Godiva (Che)) Sammy Lasagni : Guitar (Godiva (Che), Kirk) Ädu Mathy : Vocals Modify this line-up Granit's Discography lyrics mp3 review Albums Granit (Démo - 2004) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So has anybody else heard the new disc??
  10. And I must say, Charlemagne is growing on me a little. The vocals aren't the best but I'm starting to dig this.
  11. I just don't get reuniting and then releasing material that's nothing like what you originally sounded like. Perhaps this change in direction is what caused Ron to bail. Seems rather strange that he bailed right after the reunion tour. Not saying that his vocals what have made much of a difference on "Water's Rising" though. I just don't think the songs were strong enough. And I am a HUGE fan of the bands material up to the new stuff. I think "Psychoschizophrenia" was there strongest album. It's a damn shame grunge had to come along and kill them! I will still check out the new disc. I might even like it better than "Water's Rising". I don't think they will ever go back to the "Love + War" era sound.
  12. Sounds pretty unimpressive to me. What a sad continuation of a once great band. Still sounds more like Near Life Experience than Lillian Axe.
  13. #1 High Noon (by a landslide) #2 Pistol Dawn (very good) #3 Gynger Lynn (pretty good) #4 Charlemagne (don't like the singer too much but pretty good)
  14. heh heh, shea, if you believe the music video the band also said "You're All I Need" was a true story Vince was huge on racing around that time and I'm pretty sure that's where the song and video came from.
  15. Kickstart My Heart is NOT about drugs..... it's about racing.
