  1. Defintiely one of Kiss' better albums. Lots of good-great songs. Went with Lick It Up.
  2. Did you use USPS Delivery Confirmation? nope. never had a problem in the past. but i've learned from this! If you use the link Dan provided elsewhere on this site, then purchase and print your own labels through Paypal, the cost is only 19 cents per item. Well worth it, if you ask me!
  3. Awesome job, Dan! Seems to me like Zane needs some professional help for his brain.
  4. The hypersensitivity and poor people skills displayed by both Zane and his staff continue to be put on display for all to see. Hey, why not post Hammerfall's email here and those of us who choose to do so, can email them in SUPPORT of their policy? I agree that we need to get more bands like Hammerfall in the USA, and if selling their own merchandise is what it takes, then so be it! Personally, I would love to see Pink Cream 69 and Primal Fear. I have no idea if either of them has ever ventured into the USA; if they have it was nowhere near me! Well... When I go out to the KIX and ZO2 show tonight I plan to pick up tickets for Primal Fear. I know they are playing in Virginia in May. I'm not sure where you are located... but keep your eyes open for Primal Fear. http://www.jaxxroxx.com/calendar.php Sorry this went way off topic, but thanks for the info. I wish I lived closer to Jaxx so I could take advantage of the great bands they offer!

  6. Now Zane is banning Hammerfall. This email arrived just over an hour ago:
  7. Just make them all $5 on Easter only. I concur!!
  8. Zane wanted to set up a merchandise table at MRFest 2, and Andrew understandably said no (there were other vendors who asked and were also turned down, so CD Inzane was not the only vendor). The bands playing the event can set up tables, but not outside/competing merchants. Zane had a hissy fit and started making lame statements about Andrew, MR, and MRFest 2 in his newsletter and on his web site, as well as selling promos that Zane had requested from Andrew to give to artists on his label. Andrew said "enough" and pulled all CD Inzane ads/promos at MR. Zane somehow thinks that what he paid for monthly banner ads at MR somehow constitutes an "investment" in MR. Zane is threatening lawsuit, allying himself with that J.T. Snakeryder loon, and using very juvenile insults (ranting and calling Andrew a faggot, etc.... sound familiar?) on the Noticeboard, as well as lashing out at some of the members there. People who initially were posting defending or recommending CD Inzane as a CD shop have all but disappeared since Zane has shown his true nature. That's it in a nutshell. Hmmm... I think I'll go to one of the largest web sites where my target buyer audience hangs out, and call the owner and the members names. Nice. OK, Dan's summation is better than mine. :rofl2:
  9. Please let us know when you will be running another sale!
  10. I agree. NEH is great. And I don't think Stormspell toots his own horn enough. He has some rare/hard to find releases and always provides top notch service.
  11. Let me heartily endorse Tim's site. He is a great seller/collector. A++ all the way!
  12. After having read through these threads, I have to state that Zane has only served to hurt his business by sending that email out in the first place (which I also received, by the way.) Then he has continued to lose potential customers by behaving like a little boy who does not get his way. Sorry, but that's how I see it, Zane/CDInzane. If you (speaking to Zane and his reps) choose to label my comments as "Defamation of Character," as you characterized Max's statements over on MR.com, then shame on you. You really need to grow up. One thing of note: Andrew of MR.com mentions two other companies who requested to be at the event: "Two other retail businesses also asked if they could be involved at the show and I declined those requests also. Both businesses - Impulse Music and Nightmare Records replied immediately, appreciated what I was going to do and wished me every success for the event. Very classy." While I have never dealt with Impulse Music, I have to agree that Lance King of Nightmare Music is a class act and I heartily endorse shopping there.
  13. This one did not excite me much. Got rid of it a good while back.
  14. Like this album, don't love it. 2 really solid songs, about 3 more decent ones, but a lot of filler.
  15. Thanks, Dan. I will be checking this one out.
  16. RIP Doug. This was a classic album IMO, and one of my favorites back in the day. Have to listen to some now....
  17. To be honest "Sweet Pain" isn't much better and that's why with those two tunes I don't understand why so many people think that that's the best KISS album. Don't know why, but I have always loved Sweet Pain.
  18. I need to check these out. I have been waiting for this as well!
  19. Here are some of the nutjobs http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=20568 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=16044 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=15111 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=16673 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=15880 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=11816 http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=13949 Nice collection, T-Bone!
  20. Maybe all those Furby's came to life and ate him Doubt it... Furbies are smarter than that... Then they'd have to get their stomachs pumped and rabies shots D-weed is now trying to buy stuff on Amazon. He just tried to buy a CD from me today under the name Michael Arwine. The name and address did not ring a bell until I had already printed a label and sent him notice of shipment. However. the name finally clicked for me and I looked up this thread to be sure. I refunded him the money after I confirmed it was the same address. Now let's see if the scumsucker tries to burn me with my first negative ever on Amazon.
  21. ??? I really don't get the "overly mellow" comparison on the new Mastedon. In fact I think it's heavier than LOFCAUDIO. Definitely heavier than his solo works. I really do not think it is heavier than Lofcaudio. It is definitely not as uptempo as songs like Holiest One, When it All Comes Down, Thief in the Night and People of This Time. None of the choruses grab me, either, like some of the slower/lighter ones on Lofcaudio (Run to the Water, Life on the Line). Different tastes, I guess. It will receive another listen or two, but right now it has been a disappointment. A couple months later, and my opinion has not changed. I really like Water Into Wine, but nothing else caught my attention.
  22. Hellblade has some excellent tracks on it, though there is some filler as well.
