If anyone is interested, the band is repackaging their 1st album, "Year of the Cock", (remember it was in that little cardboard sleeve), I just ordered it from their page on my space, apparently the one on cdbaby are still the old version, the new repackaged version is on my space.....

yep, hardrockkiller is Thomas or his other alias Gerry, also this is another of his new ones, aorfan2006, he just paid me via western union for the cd's he won under both id's......

I could have, but I have reasons for seeing it their way as well as your way. My friends Mike and Jen bought a lawn tractor on ebay about 4 months ago and the "seller" asked for Western Union for Payment. They sent him the $2900 for him to hold it until they had time to drive and get it. When they got there, the owner looked at them and had no clue what they were talking about and he didn't even have his tractor up for sale. They've already looked into the tractor owner, the palce the check was picked up and they've come up with nothing. Police are involved as well, but nothing is looking hopeful at this time. That's another reason I'd personally never sending something through Western Union. Paying a small fee for peace of mind doesn't bother me I guess. I guess it depends whether you are sending or receiving via western union, I agree that I would not pay using western union, the fees for sending something western union are worse than paypal, and the seller can just pocket the cash, but receiving is another story, you just can't get hurt as a seller that way, other than like Del said, ebay cancelling auctions if you list something using the wrong words, like "cash" or "western union" or proganity of some kind, so I just offer that in my emails with my buyers, again mostly the ones that have had problems with paypal.....just my opinion on the subject, thanks for listening....

I couldn't agree more Lon, I also use western union, especially when some cd's I sell go for big money, I actually would prefer western union than paypal, western union doesn't show up at my door and take my money back if someone wants to rip me off, paypal does.....also if someone who has had problems in the past wants to buy something from me, I actually demand western union only, I use paypal for all the decent folks out there that I know will never in a million years rip me off......I have to agree with what was said earlier, ebay does not want you to do anything that will take money away from them, they always are talking security but really just want all your dollars to come their way.....

yeah...I got that cd, pretty good 80's type hard rock/hair metal....I wouldn't say it is worth their asking price though....I had 2 copies a couple of years ago, sold one for pretty good cash...kept one for my collection...

Those are original pressings...I purchased several back when they were at 34.99 and later when they jumped to $99.99, after that I could not sell them since they jumped way up...the guys story where he got them is some guy came in an dropped a box of 30 I think on him....and also some cassettes..he was not sure if it was a band member or what...at first he did not know what he had..then when all of us started buying them up..he jumped the price quick....if you look at what else the seller has, he wants rediculous prices for common cd's...those have been on ebay for at least 1 1/2 years....once he raised them to their current price I think he only sold 1....the last one I bought from him was christmas 2004.....

here is another update on this buyer for those that are interested...most of you will remember a couple months back cdkarl2005 paid me via paypal...I sent the cd's out then paypal took the cash back saying this buyer paid with his bank account but there was insufficient funds in it...so I lost the cash and the cd's...well I kept emailing him letting him know I still expect the funds back or the cd's, or he could never buy from me again..which I thought he would just say, no problem and keep everything...but lo and behold he paid me today! $123 that I thought was long gone...I would not take paypal again from him...I told him I would only take a western union payment as that is how he used to pay me all the time, I never had a problem with him that way...the cash is in my hands, not paypals.....so I have to say this one turned out ok for me, finally!

I will be picking it up too...looks kick ass to me!! Well done Retrospect!

According to one of the bidders who won some of his stuff, the guy's name and address are: Jeff McLauchlin 5880 Stacy trail Stacym, MN 55079 USA probably a fake name but seems to me the address would have to be right if he expected to get any cash in the mail....just thought I would pass this along....the buyer who told me this was one of the guys who was bidding like crazy on his stuff and got the name and address when ebay emailed him on where to send the money..apparently he did not send the cash as he figured it was a scam..not sure why he was bidding in the first place...what I think is funny is the sgt. roxx alone went for over $200 now he is willing to take only $100 for it....lol..... just wanted to give you guys an update on Thomas Ringseis...he never paid me and never sent the cd's back...after paypal took the funds out of my account...I recommend everyone block him and not sell to any of his alias's, Karl Horvath, Thomas Ringseis...and I think he used one named Chris...anyway if you see him bidding, do yourself a favor and cancel his bid...if not don't send the cd's to him for 2 weeks to make sure his payment clears....thanks.
