Big Truck
What are some of the best blues hard rock bands and songs?
Thomas/Coastline
Well, an early and in my opinion great example is Free. Mountain did some very nice stuff in this style too.

2023 Gold Donors Darkstone Posted March 25 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted March 25 Yeah, as jondavis mentioned above, Gary Moore's "Still Got The Blues" and "After Hours" are pure quality, as is the "Muddy Water Blues" album by Paul Rodgers. There's an incredible line-up of guitarists on that one. Of course you can't mention Paul Rodgers without mentioning "Bad Company".
2023 Gold Donors Darkstone Posted March 25 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted March 25 (edited) Actually, this may be the ultimate Blues Hard Rock song. Edited March 25 by Darkstone
2023 Gold Donors Darkstone Posted March 25 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted March 25 (edited) Although, if you're talking about a true example of Blues combined with Hard Rock, then this scene from the movie "Crossroads", featuring Steve Vai as the Devil's guitarist is UNBELIEVABLE. A bit of a "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" vibe. Great movie BTW. Edited March 25 by Darkstone
