ASPHALT BALLET - PIGS (1993)
Originally never gave this one a fair shake and hated it...mainly because Gary Jeffries was no longer the singer. When I actually gave it a fair listen I really dug this one - pretty solid stuff.Kinda sounds like a lost GnR record.
For lack of a better term, there are a SHIT TON of new entries over on the main site for everyone to check out!
New Additions to Heavy Harmonies
Some that stood out in my mind as I added them were...
Klassik '78 (all songs done in 70s KISS style)
A-Z (featuring Ray Alder on vocals)
Fire Tiger (Great female fronted power pop/ AOR/ rock)
A.Z.R.O (from Metallic Blue Records)
Audrey Horne (Had never heard of this band(
Zinny Zan - Lullabies For the Masses (Had no idea he had a new release out )
And lots more.... check em out.
Bitrate isn't going to affect the brickwalling at all. I've got uncompressed FLAC too but I'm listening on good headphones rather than in a car or on a phone so it's probably to do with that.
Weirdly when I read the news about this single it says it was the UK bonus track, and I got the 2CD version and it certainly was not on that. Checked the single CD listing and not on that either. Turns out it was a vinyl only track.
I hate this shit with a passion. Back to the days of never getting everything because CD, vinyl and digital might all have extra tracks, and that doesn't even include Japanese releases.
Do remember Bryan, he was a friend on my Facebook page ? He pushed me to listening to his new music , and give him my feedback. I told him it is not what to expected. His' reply was " I am moving on . " Later in day he unfriend , he didn't like what I told about the sound.
Especially when you consider how expensive it has become for international postage on Discogs to UK since Brexit.
Hell, I looked at new H.E.A.T. album on Amazon and they want £16. Last album by them was only £9.99 on Amazon.
