I wanted to bring Metal a bit more into the discussion and thought that this is probably the best way.

Of course, "Metal" is an umbrella term and covers many genres considered Metal.

Looking forward to the contributions and hearing some of your favourites. 

 

These guys were always sort of considered as a poor man's Metallica, but they deserve more respect than that.
