Mikael Erlandsson is back with his 6th solo album “Capricorn Six”. The Swedish singer is a true Aor/melodic rock legend that with his amazing voice which has been one of the best in this genre for more than 25 years.

Erlandsson had success in Sweden already in 1990 when he was the frontman in the band N´Gang where he had several hits incl. a Swedish song in the Eurovision Song Contest. The breakthrough in the Rock scene happened in 1993 when he released his first solo album. The album topped that year’s best of melodic rock charts and had a impact all over the world – but especially in Japan. Later on, 4 more solo albums saw the light of day and Erlandsson guested as singer on albums with Phenomena, Radioactive, Salute, Love Under Cover
amongst others. During the last fifteen years Mikael also led his own band “Last Autumns Dream” who released 15 albums and did some touring in Japan, Germany and England.

Now, Mikael Erlandsson is back with a new album filled with songs in his classic style. Musicians on the album are Sayit Dölen (guitar), Pontus Engborg (drums) and Joel Starander (bass). The record was produced by Claes Andreasson and Mikael Erlandsson (Last Autumns Dream, Heartbreak Radio) and mixed and mastered by Martin Kronlund (guest guitar themes on ”Eye of the hurricane” , ”Break another heart” & ”I just wanna love you”.

Isnt that the same album cover as the recent LAD?

Well spotted, Sir!

Maybe the forthcoming LAD album will be released as his solo album outside Japan?

And looking at the track listing, that's the case.

1. Eye Of The Hurricane

2. Why

3. Pain

4. Evil

5. Had To Let You Go

6. Break Another Heart

7. Fear The People

8. OK

9. I Just Wanna Love Ya

10. Alice In Wonderland

It's like a LAD album. Some good songs, some that pass you by and 'Alice in Wonderland' which makes you reach for the next button.

Not his strongest output but has some moments.

    • Wow... this one sounds really good. Especially that first song. I hear HEAT in that too.  Will listen to this ASAP.
    • Just wondering why you choose a couple songs from an album, and not all the good songs from an album. Also, I see you picking one album from a band that falls in that timeframe, and not all the albums. How comprehensive do you want this playlist?  Anyway, I see you have nothing from Transit, so you should add some from them. I know their albums are on the Spotifies. Also, I wasn't aware the Brunette demos were on there, so that's good to know.
    • This is hilarious, and finally seeing one of these phony liberal pussys getting whats so coming to them. Blaming it on Trump supporters. LOL love it
    • HA HA HA I FUCKING LOVE IT MAN!!
    • These are a few more I just heard off my cassette tapes my step dad gave me, quit a bizarre mix of music, though all stands in the Pop/Hi-Tech/AOR/Rock field, but really is all over the road as far as being specific, I will remind you, these are all bands and songs I have never heard of, or heard ever before, so I'm sure there will be bands you have all heard, and I'm just a fucking idiot, and my musical knowledge is a 2 on a 10 scale, none of these are off my you tube channel, I haven't had the chance to record a lot of the tapes onto my computer yet, so I am going with the ones I could already find on You Tube, which there aren't many, the 1st one is off a soundtrack from a movie I think I saw in like 1st  grade called The Sluggers Wife, it was sang by Rebecca De Mornay, who was also in the movie(the hot bitch from Risky Business) it's an extremely plain and simple pop song, like most pop songs, but for whatever reason, I'm a fan of brainless pop songs, especially when sung by females, and from the 80's, so I'm just including it on the off chance any of you are fags like I am, and like cheesy pop songs, the rest are just bands I never heard of, and dug the shit I heard on these tapes, I'll try and get all the bands that weren't on YouTube uploaded and put on here, shit takes time.     Never even heard of this dude, but i didnt hear a bad song on the whole tape, i gotta look into this guy, I might be a huge fan.
    • Oh WORD? Where the hell did this come from?! Great stuff!
    • Goodness me, the man is back with a bang!
