It is funny but it also really says a lot about Campbell. RJD loved everybody...for him to be this serious about how he feels about Vivian, you know it's true.

I read an interview with RJD some years ago in Classic Rock ... I think, but he wasn't too up on Campbell in that interview either I think at some point he said the guy had a smell of tomato hanging around him hahahaha!

This is pretty old and I'm almost positive it has been posted when it first got put online.

 

In a recent interview with Wendy Dio she said the beef between Vivian and Ronnie came when on the Sacred Heart tour he wanted to make the same amount of money that Ronnie did and that caused more problems and it was Wendy that fired Vivian and according to her he should of been mad at her not Ronnie. I've also read that besides music Ronnie and Vivian had absolutely nothing in common plus when you figure that there was probably a 15+ year age difference and with Vivian being the new kid on the block and RJD having the experience of being in big bands I could see how there could be some problems there.

 

Besides this video I've always seen much more stuff slung from Vivian's side that Ronnie's but then again Ronnie is gone so there's no point in even talking about it. But it is a shame that they weren't able to make more than 3 records together since the success of those 3 speak for themselves.

Yes this is true but Vivian has carried this reputation throughout his career, which isn't Dio's fault. He's been a wank since he's hit the scene.

I never said anything was Dio's fault. All I said is the facts from a Wendy Dio interview I can understand why they didn't get along and that it's shame they weren't able to see eye to eye and make more than three albums.
