Looking to upgrade at last to SKY HD

Need some advice from anyone that has it, how much to upgrade, cost of movies and sports.

 

We currently have Sky+, we pay around £32 for basic package and ESPN (about to cancel ESPN).

 

Are there any deals that you know of, any tips to get deals?

 

How many HD channels are available on a basic HD package?

 

Is it worth whatever it may cost?

I can't justify paying another £10 for SkyHd. I have got a SkyHD box however and I get BBC1HD, BBCHD, ITV1HD, CH4HD & CH5HD for free.

I agree. The extra charge for Sky HD is just not justifiable, especially when you consider there arent really that many HD channels available anyway.

Over the last few years I have gradually cut back on Sky services to the point that I no longer have anything other than the normal BBC and ITV channels etc.

I just feel the prices have gone up and up, and I watch it less and less.

I find it funny that the two of yo asked for advice in the matter, advice was given in opposition, and you ignored it anyway. I actually watch a few BBC shows, but I download them all. Paying for television, in general, is unjustifiable.
