As a Marvel fan through and through, I'm not really bothered by this, although I can't help thinking that making Superman a bit darker is a good thing. I love superheroes, but Superman has to be my least favourite of all (except maybe Namor, who I think is just lame). To me the best superheroes have a special ability, maybe 2 or 3 abilities, and are flawed. Superman can do pretty much anything and is a real 'goody-goody' type of hero. The films were fun, but give me Spiderman, Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Wolverine, etc any day.
