I've got the box on order...but I think Inside Out have delayed it's release until late November .... same old Inside Out! :(

I saw it in the store FYE in the U.S., the 2 cd version for 27, they had no single versions though!!

Is the box a third cd/dvd?

What do you reckon to this?

Seriously I haven't had time to listen to it alllll the way through yet, what I've heard sounds okay so far but I need to find some time to really give it a good listening to.

Cracking stuff and although there is lots to digest on this, so far I would say the best one yet.

It's not doing it for me yet, I'm having trouble getting past the first 15 minutes or so, then my attention starts wandering.

That's probably more to do with me than the album though. Most of it I really like ... when I've skipped through it, I'm just struggling to get through it in just one go.

BUT I SHALL PERCY VERE (nice bloke that Percy).

Maybe I have some sort of attention deficit, I think the probl.............................................

Been hammering this over the last few weeks........gotta say..I'm dead to it, style over substance to me. I love Transatlantic , I want to love this but it leaves me cold......there's two big proggy albums out this year (I guess) and I reckon...my fave album of the year Porcupine Tree's The Incident, makes this album look pretty stupid.

The Incident is engaging and once you start listening you don't want to stop until it ends...full of surprises, twists and turns plus it's a real nod to earlier PTree stuff as well as encompassing the latter day releases.

Whereas this just ....chugs along.....and along.....to the point of banality...it's boring. There...I've said it, and I'm sure a million prog fans are up in arms ... but go back to a song like Awaken (Yes by the way ....for proggers who go no earlier than Marillion!) it holds more drama and passion in 15 minutes than this does in .. what 77 minutes???? As any woman will tell you (okay they tell me !!!) size doesn't matter it's what you do with it that counts and what we have here is a flaccid piece of music in need of viagra. Meandering nonsense that even clumsily attempts to mimic Yes at the final movement with the slowed down Dancing With Eternal Glory which could be Soon by any other name.

Great in parts.....but as a whole.....well ....no wonder movements like punk and grunge arise. Even my missus who puts up with A LOT of my stuff without complaint was relieved in no uncertain terms when I stopped playing it tonight.

Still a great album for me and the live version on the new CD/DVD 'Whirld Tour' shows off just how tight they are live aswell.

Still one that's passing me by mate.....I also passed on the Live CD/DVD box because of this...and that's bad coz I've got everything else the band has done....it's just ....annoying that I can't get into it!!! Damned annoying!
