KIX has scheduled a few more dates... They are finally playing a few show on the West Coast.

 

Here is the schedule:

 

Apr 3 2009 Uncasville, Connecticut

Mohegan Sun Casino - FREE SHOW! 8:00 P

 

Apr 4 2009 Lancaster, Pennsylvania

The Chameleon Club 11:30P

 

May 8 2009 San Diego, California

4th and B 11:00 P

 

May 9 2009 Phoenix, Arizona

Desert Invasion - Phoenix Events Complex 4:00P

 

May 30 2009 Columbia, Maryland

Merriweather Post Pavilion - M3 Rock Festival 5:00P

 

Jul 11 2009 Pryor, Oklahoma

Rocklahoma 8:00P

 

Aug 22 2009 Algona, Iowa

Rock Gone Wild Festival 8:00P

 

 

I'm not sure how many of you live close to any of these locations... But you really should try and catch KIX.

PS: MORE DATES TO BE ADDED. SLIGHT CHANCE THAT THERE MAY BE A COUPLE SHOWS OVER SEAS.

I'm hoping to get to Rock Gone Wild in Iowa. Just figuring out if I can shell out $175 for the ticket, etc. And a few more bands announcements would be nice.

 

Would be fun....though I used to work at the Rockfest and Countryfest in Cadott, WI and every year it seemed a downpour or some sort of storm would move in. If it wasn't that is was 90 degrees and humid.

I was really hoping that they were going to be added to DRF since they were playing Rock Gone Wild.

I was really hoping that they were going to be added to DRF since they were playing Rock Gone Wild.

Yeah, but they only added big name bands with multiple hits to this years DRF so obviously KIX would be out. :lol:

 

and Pete, that was definitely NOT a slam against FarCry sir. It was directed towards the tribute bands they have playing.

      I have been a Band Maid fan since their early days (2015) as I really don't mind foreign vocals as long as the music is great, but I always kinda avoided Babymetal as I saw a video of them once and really wasn't impressed with the kiddy vocals, so never gave them another chance. Fast forward to now and on the back of the collab with Electric Callboy I have decided to give them a go. I thought they had a huge discography as they have like 25 albums, but on closer inspection it is only four studio albums and 21 live albums. As I am not a fan of live albums anyway, I decided to buy the four studio albums as they are all quite cheap. Have to say there music is a mixed bag, but overall really enjoying a lot of it. Not sure if I just picked the wrong song to start with, or if it is just that I have adapted more due to getting into a lot of weird and wonderful foreign bands over the last few years, but I am glad I finally gave them a proper go. Have to say, if this song was sung in English I think they would have a lot of fans on here

      Another i'm still awaiting the arrival of...same day release/delivery my arse Amazon  Still this is sounding like their best release thus far...they are gaining and getting better...although I did enjoy the last few albums also...but the sound/production from this one is excellent.
