Something is bugging me...

I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out this artist/song. Heard it on the radio this week and all I can remember/hear clearly was the words "farewell" and "moonlight". It sounded like bridge and chorus repeated a few times during the song. The sound was very Queensrÿchesque and especially the voice. I first thought it was Geoff Tate. Maybe it was him!

I know the clues are a little bit vague but any info would be appreciated (lyrics, samples, website, pictures...whatever).
