gener8tr
You guys have to check out the 1983 Self Titled release from CHARLIE. One of the best AOR CD's in my collection (and I have a lot). Their 70's stuff is great, but this one is PURE 80'S AOR. You will not be disappointed, I promise!!! Jez
Too much mate...probably 25% of my CD collection hahaha! The best years for AOR without a single doubt if you take it back another couple of years to '78, and most AOR fans wouldn't argue too much I don't think. There has been good AOR discs since, but looking back on everyone's lists here and some of the bands and albums coming out over this period, most other things pale into insignificance in my humble opinion. rickinmd
Haywire-Bad boys IMHO "Don't Just Stand There" is much better... 'Bad Boys' has always been their greatest disc for me and one of the best to come out of Canada in the 80's- Very Orphan/Loverboy in style. 'Don't Just Stand There' is good, but not on the same level for me. It all went pretty much downhill after that one with their last 2 discs which were not that great!!! Any more opinions on the first 2 Haywire discs - PLEASE REPLY NOW!! Bad Boys is one of my all time faves!
