  1. One of my favorite Vain songs as well Tasha. But I really enjoy cranking up "Aces" and singing along, great song. Right now it's KISS - Asylum (love "Who Wants To Be Lonely")
  2. Rockhead, did that guy ever reply to your email with an explanation?
  3. I noticed that one as well but I wasn't too familiar w/ what the availability of Femme Fatale's releases were. Interesting...
  4. This is the first I've heard about this. An Ebay seller named the79dreampolice has a 2001 UK "reissued" Hurricane - Over the Edge cd for sale on ebay HERE. I am not aware of this cd having ever been reissued and according to an interview I read w/Kelly Hansen last year it hasn't been yet. So what's going on here?
  5. {In a snarling voice} "Whaaat Do You Want To Dooo With Your Life??!! great song, great video... Right now listening to "A Portrait Of Aldo Nova"
  6. Today I found in a thrift store- Aldo Nova - A Portrait of Aldo Nova Spycastle - Stone Structure Endeavor (surprisingly good melodic metal)
  7. Ooooh...I keep meaning to read the darn thing since I finally got it!!!! Good stuff, eh??? Now spinning........ Unruly Child ~ S/T (must be on a Mark Free kick today...) Very good reading. These guys are lucky just to be alive! Right now listening to Leatherwolf - Street Ready
  8. This guy has totally fallen apart. When I placed my bid he had a 100% feedback. Now look where he's at: tranemusic feedback link
  9. Motley Crue - Motley Crue (I just got to the Corabi part of "The Dirt").
  10. Ok, now I'm REALLY jealous! I'm watching about 4 different auctions for that one right now! Hehe...How expensive is it these days??? "Great Dane" gave it to me for free...He didn't go with all the sex change stuff.... But anyway, the album is a killer release!!! Look forward to finding it...Last time I checked it was at 30 EUROs... That kind of raised my eyebrows when I read the "got it free" also. I have been lucky enough to buy that cd 3 times (all in South Dakota). The first time I bought it at a pawn shop for $4.00. Then I traded it in w/ a bunch of other cd's in college when money was tight. Found it a second time in a .50 cent bargain bin and accidently traded it (along with about 5 other cd's I accidently got rid of) when my wife and I were thinning out our cd and tape stock with music that we thought we never listened to anymore. When I realized that I went back to the store and it was already gone. Started watching Ebay and realized how expensive the darned thing was so pretty much gave up on it. Then I ran across it for $4.00 at a used cd store last year. I also found a 4th one in a pawn shop in Vegas about 6 months ago but it was so scratched I don't think it would have played even if run thru a scratch remover. Guess I'm just meant to have that album.
  11. I had every Sabbath album on cassette so I have been slowly trying to replace them. A guy on Ebay was selling the 4 lot Castle remasters for $19.99 which seemed pretty fair since individually they went for that. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath just knocks me out!
  12. I got an 84.5. And that's with ALL extra credit points. Pretty sad, especially when I thought I was pretty good at 80's music lyrics.
  13. This week I picked up or got in the mail: Black Sabbath - Technical Ecstasy, Master Of Reality, Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (all 1996 Castle remasters) Black Sabbath - Mob Rules White Trash - S/T Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love (Motley Records remaster) Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather (remaster)
  14. I've been reading "The Dirt" by Motley Crue (can't put it down!) so I went out and picked up the Too Fast For Love reissue on Motley Records and have had that playing while I read.
  15. I'm a huge Tony Martin fan, and despite their lack of any real hits during his time in the Black Sabbath those albums are my favorites. Tommy Paris did a great job replacing Dizzy in Britny Fox--Bite Down Hard was one album I avoided on purpose for quite a while until I came to my senses. And I agree with SHK on Steve Augeri in Journey. Steve Perry should be pissed that the guys in the band stole some of his DNA and cloned him.
  16. Today I picked up: Metallica - And Justice For All Starship - Love Among The Cannibals Bulletboys - Freakshow Bad Company - Here Comes Trouble
  17. Never heard of these guys before......but damn......the title sounds like something I'm ALWAYS telling my son!!! "Can't have nothin' nice around here" Yeah, thats what I'm always saying too, because everytime I do get something nice is seems to get damaged in a rather quick fashion. The Gear Daddies are (were) a band from Minnesota that had a pretty big following in the midwest (ND, SD, MN, IL) and my brother was friends with the lead singer Martin Zeller. Their music is hard to describe, country/folk-rock I guess, very Dylan-esque. AMG sites a heavy Byrds influence. All of my friends who I've played them for have liked them.
  18. In the mail today Gear Daddies--Can't Have Nothin' Nice
  19. The thought has crossed my mind. Here is the email he sent when he refunded my money: "sorry i am not ablt to ship barely move very sick heres a refund in full for all your money sorry it did not work and thanks for the patience take care". But for him not being able to move other people have been getting their stuff just fine according to his feedback. It was a pretty sweet price I won all 5 cd's for so yeah, he probably did do something like sell them for more. Oh well, I got my money back so its not a total loss.
  20. Today the seller refunded my money. While I'm bummed he didn't fulfill my order, he was honest and did the right thing.
  21. Rockhead I did some quick translating of the 5 most recent negatives. 1 was a complaint about the high shipping charge, 2 were complaining that he didn't respond to emails but apparently received their items, 1 got something different from the description and 1 didn't recieve their item but if I read it right he returned their money to them. I used the translate feature on google.com for this so they may not be 100% but I think it's close.
  22. Artension - Into the Eye of the Storm wow! Never have been much of a fan of Progressive Rock but this is really good!
  23. O.K., time to let off a little steam here. On May 27 (the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend) I won and paid for via Paypal a 5 lot set of Black Sabbath cd's from the seller tranemusic (Jesus Campo). I placed my bid with confidence because he had a 100% feedback rating. That evening he sent me an email saying he would mail out the package Monday May 31 and if I needed the tracking number just let him know. Since Monday was Labor Day I assumed he meant he would mail it Tuesday June 1st. On Tuesday June 8 I asked for the tracking number since it had been a week coming from CA to AZ. No reply. Thursday the 10th I again emailed for a tracking number. He replied that evening saying he had been at a concert out of town and had forgot about my package, but would mail items first thing Monday June 14th priority mail. I emailed Wed. June 16th asking if he had mailed them yet. No reply. Yesterday (Friday June 18th) still nothing from him. I sent him a nasty email to which he replied that he has been ill and will send it out Monday June 21. We'll see. I gave him until next Friday and then I'm done playing games.
