  1. Wait a sec on those links...The front of the cd case says the videos for "Mixtape" and "Don't Move" are on here as well.
  2. I just finished listening to "Don't Move" and yeah, I liked it a lot. This is the first I've heard anything off of this album (Although I also own his "Left of Self-Centered" album) because I live in a cave on the moon with my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed shut...no wait, actually I just don't listen to the radio too much (cd's baby!) and avoid MTV like the plague. Send me the links...if you would be so kind. I'd love to see the video.
  3. sshhh...don't anyone tell MJ but I'm listening to {whipers} Butch Walker - Letters. "Mixtape" is a great song.
  4. I've been keeping an eye on the guys feedback to see if either the "reissued" Hurricane or Fiona auction winner has a problem with their items.
  5. OMG......headphones on that one Blue!!! Ask whip some time about when he sent me the song "That Load" Is that the one you thought was going to be a sappy ballad when it started? Just got done listening to it--laughed my a*s off (but then I do have the sense of humor of a 12 year old ). Loving "Sherbert" also!
  6. Hey Blue.....go here, and scroll about half way down the page. MRock has samples. My take.....is that they're a bit like 40Ft Ringo.....kinda poppish / nu-breed??? http://www.melodicrock.com/minibytes.html Thanks MJ, I checked 'em out. Songs sound good but that type of music just isn't my cup o' tea. Today I bought: Aerosmith - Gems Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance and for the kids (got a funny look from the cashier as she rang up my odd combo ): And The Winner Is...A Collection Of Honored Disney Classic Songs also got in the mail today: Skrapp Mettle - Sensitive
  7. What does SR-71 sound like? They have 2 of their cd's used at the local music store for $5.99 each. Just wondering.
  8. Today I picked up Dio - Killing the Dragon (new $5.99) Motley Crue - Live: Entertainment or Death (new $8.99) and in the mail I got Blue Tears - Blue Tears
  9. Cyberbrat Is THAT what that sh*t's called??? I soooooooooo hate that!!! I just thought it was a mental deficiency, or something.....not able to form full words... I love Jeff Scott Soto......but he pulls that crap too... I thought he was posting lyrics to a folk song.
  10. Wow, I had no idea there were other Steve Earle fans around here. I have his album Copperhead Road and love it, especially the title track, "Johnny Come Lately" and "Devil's Right Hand".
  11. It's a great piece of history. If anyone is interested there is a great documentary about it here: D.B. Cooper Alright, back on topic--listening to Waysted - Vices
  12. OK, I'm a little slow here...is who my girlfriend? I'm guessing he means the chick riding the bomb...... Hey that's cool, the bomb chick can sure be my girlfriend. I just don't think my wife would approve.
  13. OK, I'm a little slow here...is who my girlfriend?
  14. Holy cow, what a haul from the Hastings bargain bin! I just checked the Hastings here yesterday and they didn't have crappity crap.
  15. I have no idea how to explain it BC since I'm no expert on arrangements or anything like that but it's almost magical how the album just sort of pulls you in and holds you in a different world throughout the duration. Brian Wilson just did a tremendous job on this. I've never owned anything by the Beach Boys (I have a few songs on mp3) but I kept hearing such high praises about this album that I figured I'd drop $15.99 on it and to me it was worth every penny.
  16. Congratulations and welcome to the club! ...of people who waste WAY too much time here... Funny, my boss was just telling me the same thing yesterday...
  17. A little off genre but today I picked up The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds 2001 reissue that contains both the original mono album and remastered stereo album. I finally know why this album is considered one of the greatest ever.
