  1. I used to have the cassette with the backwards printing, I've been looking for the cd like that forever. Thats great that you found it! I wonder just how rare it is.
  2. After an hour drive today I found: Judas Priest - Turbo Firehouse - Bring 'Em Out Live Trouble - Manic Frustration Def Leppard - Retro Active Scarface Soundtrack - 20th Anniversary Remaster
  3. Found today for 49 cents each: Bruce Dickinson - Accident Of Birth (the thing smells like onions) Lillian Axe - Live 2002 (still sealed, marked down from $19.99) Jesse Camp - Jesse & The 8th St Kids (49 cents seems kind of expensive for this, but it's getting a little better each song) Artension - Into The Eye Of The Storm (never heard of these guys)
  4. Today got Black Sabbath - Eternal Idol (Japan) in the mail and picked up Grateful Dead - In The Dark. Still waiting on the 5 pack of Black Sabbath cd's I won 3 weeks ago on eBay (I'm beginning to get a little worried).
  5. Today I picked up: White Lion - Big Game Dio - Holy Diver Bon Jovi - Bon Jovi
  6. "Lifetime" is my favorite KD song on my favorite KD album. I drove to a music store 2 hours away from home to get this cd back before it was reissued so the album probably sounds a little better to me than it really is... Right now listening to Electric Boys - Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride
  7. On my way to work today I was bebopping to The Beatles - 1. I figured I should tone it down a little since last Friday I was cruising to work and had Kix - the Show Business demo's cranked and smucked the rear end of the car in front of me. Whoops.
  8. Today I got: Kix--the Show Business demo's called Thunderground (can't wait to hear it!) Judas Priest--Priest...Live (Oh Yeah!) and Waysted--Vices
  9. I'm a little curious also...I had the first one with Bang and really liked it (big Bon Jovi influence) but I heard they got really mellow after that.
  10. Yesterday picked up: Butch Walker - Left of Self-Centered Warrant - Cherry Pie (All The Hitz 'N' More)
  11. Just want to say this is a great topic you started oderin1967! It's very cool to read about what everyone has picked up throughout the week and is one of my favs in the forum. I especially like seeing those people that seem to own everything saying they just picked up something common like Slaughter - Stick It To Ya or Cinderella - Long Cold Winter. So they are human after all!
  12. The two pawn shops in town are both getting out of the cd business so unfortunatley I will be finding no new suprises in either one . However, they are selling their remaining items for next to nothing so today I picked up a variety of genres: Michael Stanley Band - Stagepass (never heard these guys but I read this is a good live album) Neil Diamond - His 12 Greatest Hits Neil Diamond - 12 Greatest Hits Volume II Deadeye Dick - A Different Story and... Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - Classics Volume 1
  13. Today I picked up: Judas Priest - British Steel Bob Rivers Comedy Corp - Twisted Christmas
  14. Just picked these up: Various Artists - Rock Artifacts 3 cd set (sealed) $5.99 Guns N Roses - Live Era 87-93 (clean version--shit, didn't notice that till I got home! ) $5.99 Ugly Kid Joe - Very Best of Ugly Kid Joe $4.99 Zwarte - Zwarte (sealed) $4.99 Zwarte - IV (sealed) $4.99
  15. English Steel I - Start 'Em Young Why this was made I don't know but if you like Fastway w/Lea Hart you'll like this (since it's mostly those songs done with different musicians).
  16. Tesla - Into The Now (Love the song Words Can't Explain).
  17. I've noticed that if a band tries to sound like Zep thats a bad thing but if they try to sound like AC/DC thats a good thing...
  18. Or maybe we should all email him a bunch of stupid questions!!!
  19. I have the first five albums that were released. The first three I used to own on cassette and liked each for different reasons. Their s/t album was great to throw in at parties (that tape was probably loaned out to 15 different people and still always found its way back to me). 17--what an awesome song! In Your Face seemed to veer away from the Zep sound a little, tried to sound more like what was popular at the time, but was still a great album. I was very excited to get Hands of Time when it first came out because I thought it was really going to be something special. I guess Lenny wrote and played most of the instruments on the album. To me the album cover really gives a big hint as to the sound of the album. Heavy, pounding drums but the music just flows with Lenny's voice and gives an almost airy, relaxing feel despite it being a hard rock album. Very hard to describe, but it used to get a lot of play and is probably my second favorite behind the s/t. Bad Image and Twilight Cruiser I recently got from Mothers Metal.com. I still have yet to listen to them (now I'm a little hesitant to hear Bad Image after JLPRocks comment ) but I hear Twilight Cruiser is very cool.
  20. Listening to Great White--Psycho City I see the comments are still disabled on the band page...
  21. Giving I, Napoleon another try to grow on me (for the fifth time). I really like the song Perfest Absolution but the rest is so "eh".
  22. Today got home to find English Steel I - Start 'Em Young and Sleeze Beez - Screwed Blued & Tattoed in the mailbox. Also picked up Hanoi Rocks - Self Destruction Blues and Earl Thomas Conley - Greatest Hits Vol. II. And I have Friday off for the first time in about a year, it should be a good weekend.
  23. Another happy listener! When I finally get it playing later this morning I have this feeling it's going to be similiar to the experience I had the first time I heard Hardline--Double Eclipse...I was totally blown away!
  24. Just got Wildside-Under The Influence in the mail today. It's going in the car first thing tomorrow morning. I'm pretty pumped, I just hope it's as good as everyone on the band comment page says it is!
