  1. Big FM day - The Canadian prog band (who had the name first!) not the U.K. one! F.M. - Black Noise. F.M. - Tonight F.M. - Headroom Direct to Disc (only on Vinyl but I've put it to CD) F.M. - City of Fear (same as above) F.M. - Lost in Space F.M. - Retro Active F.M. - Surviellance F.M. - Con - Test Not all played through but selections from each played...ahhhh picky guy that I am!
  2. Nantucket - Your Face or Mine Hobbit - Rocking the Shire .... courtesy of Jez ... gonna have to get some more of their stuff!
  3. Oh sorry my mistake, just looked down the road for further confirmation, it was one of the girls from the stables down the bottom but she has a yellow reflective jacket on!!!
  4. Haha! Weird a policeman on a horse just passed my window. I think they call them mounted policeman but who knows what Geoff would make of that phrase
  5. Wonderous Stories indeed .... see Yes did a song about your exploits! Anyway I wonder what shennanigans Metal Jay is up to??? He hasn't posted in this thread for a while! Something dubious no doubt.
  6. I've got a postcard with a picture featuring a shepherd bringing his sheep home in the snow next to me. It's called "The Sun Had Closed the Winter's Day" and was painted by Joseph Farquharson.
  7. Through the post Diamond Head - Canterbury and Some try before you buy samplers from good old Jez Nantucket Hobbit Balance II and the Quasi-legendary Lavender Rose CD. Cheers Bud!
  8. Been in a miserable mood for the last few days after some bloody painful dental work has left me in agony for the last 3 days and counting. So I've been playing bloody miserable stuff:- Nick Cave - The Good Son Nick Cave - Nocturama Nick Cave - Murder Ballads Nick Drake - Bryter Later Nick Drake - Pink Moon Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left All Nicks.......people with that name must be naturally depressing!!!
  9. Just won Diamond Head - Canterbury CD on eBay for £8 which has pleased me somewhat!
  10. Bowel designer eh? What a bum job!
  11. Professional bowl designer???? WTF ?? As in fruit bowls???? How are you aware of this man???? Have you a secret passion for bowls???
  12. I bought the Bittersweet - Loaded Up from them as I wanted to hear what they were like. No worries it was cheap n cheerful, as long as it's kosher and the bands are getting their cut I'd have no qualms with buying from them again at some point if there was something I was interested in. Although I'm not big on CDR's if the stuff your after is no longer available / was never freely available and the bands are involved then what's the problem? Nice to see them get some form of release. Plenty of young/new bands when you pick up their CD's at gigs only sell CDR's anyway so where's the difference?
  13. What a quality purchase my dear fellow!!!!!
  14. Coney Hatch - Outa Hand Kix - Hot Wire Crahdiet - Rest in Sleaze
  15. Through the post Coney Hatch - Outa Hand (Rock Candy remaster)
  16. Ok Nick C Thank you... Yes great UK album (despite the singer ...). It seems me to have read somewhere that the 2 Rio will be republished... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually looking at the sleeve pic on the HH site it seems it may actually be an LP sleeve scan judging by the look of the OBI strip. I hope it does get released...if you find out would you post it here? Or if anyone else knows.
  17. I think it may have been released as a CD in Japan looking at the picture provided with the entry on the HH CD listings area, although I have never come across it on CD. It's a great album and it deserves a reissue but I have not heard any details of a forthcoming re-release on it. BUT don't take just my word for it, some of the more clued up people on this site may be able to help a little more.
  18. I printed a letter tonight on our system just one letter allll night and the name on it was...... Mr. S. Perry Could it be he?
  19. It's that giving side of you that I admire!
  20. Is that a good CD Nick? I'm thinking of buying the reissue. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah it's great ... I was trying to decide for months but Geoff persuaded me and I'm glad he did. Plus the price at AORHEAVEN is bang on. There are some comments about the production being a little bassy on the reissue (I haven't heard the original on Xero records) but I find I can usually get it sounding just fine.
  21. Technical Ecstasy - The song Back Street Kids is my fave Sabs song.
