  1. From 2nd hand CD shop: YVES CHOIR - By Prescription Only (just look how much this seller from Japan sells this, CRAZY!: http://cgi.ebay.com/YVES-CHOIR-1989-France...1QQcmdZViewItem DAVID DREW - Safety Love EVERY MOTHER'S NIGHTMARE - S/T
  2. And don't forget the bad ass tattoo. And nobody was smiling, too. Very early-Metallica.
  3. From eBay: HAIR THEATRE - Freak Idol (the most that I've paid for a CD - $13+ including S$H... because I'm cheap )
  4. From eBay: MOON'DOC - S/T THUNDER - Back Street Symphony (Capitol/EMI not the Geffen nor the Japan Ltd. 2 CD release) from the store/pawnshop BLACKEYED SUSAN - Electric Rattlebone HEAVENS EDGE - S/T (Paper works are Mint; heavily scratched but doesn't skip) LOST JOHNNY - Hidden Measures... and 1/2 Truths (SEALED!) LOUDNESS - Soldier of Fortune
  5. I love the sticker on the front cover. "TOP THAT SHIT BRITNEY!" I love it. I ordered mine today. Apparently it comes with a free box of tissues? Now, I'm really thinking if I'm in the right Message Board.
  6. Try asking the seller "giveawayguy" about important things that matter to you about the item that he's selling. You won't get anything 'coz he doesn't give a hoot. As a POTENTIAL buyer, I believe that you have the right to know about certain things (like the condition) regarding the item if they don't give exact details (EXCEPT THE SONG TITLES). Some sellers just give very vague discription like "In Very Good Condition" then after you bought it, you realised that you have different definition of the term Very Good. I just stay away from sellers like that. And stay away from giveawayguy!!!
  7. From eBay: PURGED - Form of Release (Sealed) From somewhere else... PLAYGRIND - Tastes Like Rubber Chicken PLAYGRIND - Image SLEEZE BEEZ - Powertool
  8. From CHEAPO in Minnesota: (RED) SIREN - All is Forgiven JACKYL - S/T VINCE NEIL - Exposed Just these 3 ordinary titles already cost me $14+... not a great deal! Actually, CHEAPO is a good place to shop for Metal CDs if you're willing to shell out $13 (the MINIMUM!) to $18 per CD. Imagine a place as big as your local Walgreens store full of CDs.
  9. When you're discussing about catchy choruses, how can anybody forget the band Baton Rouge? The songs in their Shake Your Soul CD have some of the catchiest songs in hard rock. Songs like BAD TIME COMIN DOWN and BABY'S SO COOL will stuck to your head for days. I think that album has so much hooks and the songs are so catchy that it can rival any nursery rhymes CD that I bought for my son! I even think it's already ridiculously catchy. Others that come up to my mind are: STAGEFRIGHT - Def Leppard (the opening verse just goes into a build-up until you unexpectedly fall into a gigantic, sweet & catchy hook of the chorus) GUILTY - Tora Tora
  10. Now, to answer the question about my Top 5 rarest. I think I only have 3 or 4 'coz most are not that rare. DAMAGED MAILBOXZ - S/T DEFENDER - 2NFRO ICRI'S WITCH - In For The Kill S'AINT AMERICA - S/T The best thing about these titles is that I got them all SEALED and FREE. Just not sure if anybody really cares about the Defender CD. Have yet to see Icri's Witch on eBay. S'aint America had a $49 Buy-it-Now price the last time I saw it.
  11. Animal Bag - S/T Herican Alice - Tear The House Down Megadeth - Killing Is My Business... (Combat) Piece Dogs - Exes For Eyes Shut Up and Drive - Driven (Awesome CD, the guitarist is as good or better than George Lynch!) All-in-all, I paid $19.99. Animal Bag was a HUGE mistake!
  12. DISARRAY - Widespread Human Disaster (Great thrash metal even though it only goes at a minimum price in eBay)
  13. ROXY BLUE - Want Some? ($2.99) SANCTUARY - Refuge Denied ($6.00) Both in Excellent to Near Mint condition.
  14. Was very surprised to see the name Bonnie Tyler (see topic under this) here and really got me thinking that this is not the same Heavy Harmonies anymore. This is not to say that I oppose the inclusion of artists like Ms. Tyler. I don't have that much knowledge of what are the boundaries of melodic rock or where or when you start labeling an artist as AOR. Seeing names like Chicago, Bonnie Tyler and Kenny Rogers Jr. just give me the feeling that this is not the same site that I was very excited to go to. Of course, with the discovery of long-forgotten recordings, names and titles will keep adding up but can you imagine seeing those names in this site six years ago? Just a thought.
  15. From a second-hand CD store: STEELHEART - S/T

  22. How much does it normally cost for a 3 to 5 minutes of long distance call in the States? That's how much I paid for a sealed copy of S'aint America - S/T.
