  6. AMEN! 1. Metallica 2. Megadeth 3. Metal Church 4. Testament And yeah, looks like Testament is winning the poll. Nobody can ever deny the greatness of The New Order. And Alex Skolnick!
  7. thru the post: CAPRICORN - S/T (excellent German band that played real Heavy Metal)
  8. Among the 3, I would definitely choose George Lynch in his Dokken days. Though his not even in the top 5 guitarist in my crazy list of 80s greats. I don't believe that Vinnie was THAT fast. Wasn't there a thread here that revealed what he usually does in the studio to sound fast???
  9. Mr. Big - S/T The Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker
  10. Well, I'm not defending the seller, but if asked and then bid without hearing from them you take your own chance, which has very predictable outcome... Always, ALWAYS update your address with eBay and PayPal - it takes 2 minutes to do so and will help you avoid mishaps like this. Many sellers print labels ditectly from ebay - especially the big volume sellers and its easy to overlook an instruction. Thanks for the heads up!!!
  11. Bought the CD El Gato De La Slam by Slamcat from this giveawayguy. The price of the CD is at the minimum and I don't have any complaints about the s&h price, either. But before bidding, I asked him 3 times about the condition of the item. Didn't receive any answers from the 3 questions. I bidded anyway, since the item was cheap. I sent my payment (via snail mail) with the instructions of where to send the item. I have already moved and no longer have the same address that was listed in eBay. Still, he sent it to my former address and when I gave him some notice that I'll be leaving him a NEUTRAL feedback (for not answering questions and the wrong address), he wrote back that he really doesn't answer them. I did left him a NEUTRAL then he responded with a NEGATIVE! What I wrote on my feedback were all true and he still didn't even contacted me to negotiate about that if he wanted me to change it. His full name and address: DAN ROBERTSHAW 530 DENWAY CIRCLE UNIT #34 KALAMAZOO, MI 49008
  12. Do you have to ask? KIX! Go blow your mind with HOT WIRE!
  13. An album full of sexual innuendos, you'll think that the only thing that Bruno Ravel and Steve West had in mind when they wrote this album was SEX. It is that SHAMELESS. And the song topics, WOW, they're really that original! With titles like "Find Your Way Back Home", "Comin' Home" (guess how many going home songs were written in the 80s), "Crazy Nites"(do I have to explain?) and "I Still Think About You", they really stuck to the time-tested topics in songwriting for the average hair bands. Thank goodness for Andy Timmons. I like Beat the Bullet.
  14. POISON only because of Native Tongue. Though I used to like RATT, I don't think they'll be able to come up with an album of that caliber.
  15. SLAM ST. JOAN - Saved By Grace ($2.99 in Near Mint condition at FYE)
  16. Trixter - S/T Slaughter - Stick It To Ya (despite of the great reviews, I don't find this album that great. Compare to other 90s release, this sounds very mediocre.)
  17. I read V for Vendetta even before it hit the big screen. Never entered to me that it would be mind blowing. Also thought (wrongfully) that the story won't work as a movie. V is far from being THE WATCHMEN w/c is Alan Moore's greatest work. The Sean Connery movie "League of Extra-Ordinary Gentlemen" was based loosely on The Watchmen. For me, the best comic adaptation was and will always be Superman. Though I loved the X-men before, I never understand what the hell happened with it on the movie. The studio just took a little from here and there and made it into a movie.
  18. This has been in my mind. I've been thinking about asking you guys exactly about this since I've been listening to this Spanish heavy metal band MAGO DE OZ. Not exactly the first time that I've listened to spanish hard rock. I remember the first one that I've heard was SANGRE AZUL and hated it. But this MAGO DE OZ, I really liked even though I don't understand a word they're singing. Maybe because with SANGRE, the vocals were horrible. Try finding one of MAGO DE OZ's CDs and if you like melodic metal, you'll definitely enjoy it.
  19. You Can't Stop Rock N'Roll. Very, very strong.
  20. Never thought I'll never receive anything sealed and free anymore after several months. Just got lucky. GRACEPOINT - Science of Discontent (and its very, very good )
  21. Living Color & Rage Against The Machine (I'm a Morello fan)
  22. A payment for a simple (or not so simple favor): Iron Maiden - S/T (Capitol)
  23. I think this will pass as legitimate, since it's a silver back CD: SORE THROAT - Music To Lick Windows To With song titles like "Scratch My Asphalt", "Trap My Elastic Aardvark" and "Wipe That Smile Off Your Ass" and a Free CD so, how can I complain? By the way, it's hard rock/metal (sometimes it reminds me of Metallica) all-instrumental.
