  1. Invisible - Vivian Campbell/Dio Imagine, Vivian Campbell used to play like this. What a sorry state that he's in right now playing rhythm for Def Leppard. But I'm sure he's making more money than me playing for that band.
  2. from the post: KRYTON - S/T ULTIMATUM - S/T FROGBOYT - Feel Free BACKSEAT DRIVER - Son of the City SID BOOTY - S/T (ultra sleaze band from Canada) THRILL SHOW - Sister's No Future
  3. The one that came out: or the one that was scrapped:
  4. DUSHAN PETROSSI's IRON MASK - Revenge Is My Name GLASS TIGER - The Thin Red Line Both in Like New condition - previously played but were put backed in shrink wrapped. And $10 for the both of these!!! Also going to pick up tomorrow: ERIC LaPOINTE - Obsession (that has a very different cover than the one available in eBay)
  5. GUARDIAN - Fire and Love ($3 - in MINT condition) WHITE LION - Concert Anthology 1987-1991 DVD and oh scatter creek - s/t courtesy of terry
  6. CROWN OF THORNS - S/T FATAL ATTRACTION - End of Regulation Time ($3 off Ebay + s&h) TOTAL STRANGER - S/T ($8 off Ebay + s&h) HIGHER POWER - Cast A Light (this one is for you, staryder1!)
  7. The only MYSTIC FORCE that came up to my mind immediately was that of the Power Rangers since my son tells me nothing but Power Rangers these days.
  8. My first time in Calgary and nothing spectacular: GYPSY ROSE - Prey (second copy - for trade) GLASS TIGER - Diamond Sun MARK WOOD - Voodoo Violince THE STAND - In Three Days (which is an entirely different band that released a 1989 self-titled album)
  9. Same here. Also have some CDs that are signed by the artists themselves but they are nowhere near as famous as Kip Winger or Phil Lewis. I'm talking about the most obscure of the obscure indie hard rock bands. They really feel that they've already "made" it when they signed their albums. Nothing wrong with that, of course but still... I prefer my Cds without any kind of writing on them......no offense to the musicians but I really don't care who made the music and as a result I don't need their autographs...I just want a nice clean CD.....
  10. I've watched that episode where in the end he told the reason why he does it. It is to push other illusionists to create more dazzling tricks. But yes, he is indeed a traitor to his profession. That's the no.1 rule in being a "magician" - never reveal the secret.
  11. Just got blown away by this former Scorps. Never thought that he is really THAT good. And probably (though it pains me to say) that this is one hard rock guitarist who can actually topple Van Halen in the "feel" and speed category. Now, I've heard Manuel Barrueco's, Narcisso Yepes', Paco De Lucia's and John Williams' versions of Concerto De Aranjuez, but Uli Roth's electric guitar version is not far from De Lucia's amazing version. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFdCFqQEAKM Any fans of his works?
  12. ...then cut it off and let him suffer for the rest of his life. That's it for me. I just cannot grasp what these maniacs see in little children. I'm as horny as the next guy but I just cannot understand their twisted brains. I have a 7-year old boy and I take him to school everyday and see other children, and the only thing that always enter my mind is that these are God's little gifts.
  13. Yes, like the David LaDuke "Rock Hard Rocker" that I submitted that never got added. I hope the board got my sarcasm.
  14. LOCK UP - Something Bitchin' This Way Comes QUOTA - Stick To Your Guns (2nd copy - for trading purposes)
  15. How many times we've seen and read in articles that Warren DeMartini is "UNDERRATED". I've read countless of articles praising his style and so called "technique". He's not that 'UNDERRATED" anymore. IMO, he's nowhere as good as his partner Robbin Crosby,
  16. ATOMIC FANTASY - Our Story... And We're Sticking To It!!! (2nd copy so this one is for trade or sale)
  17. Yeah, the album is not that terrible. Though nothing mind blowing, I still think it's a keeper.
  18. Has it been released on DVD? I'm very excited to get my sweaty hands on this. (Yet another documentary from Sam Dunn to show how cheaply done the Hollywood Rocks Documentary)
  19. Oh, YEAH!!! I've always loved that Blackout solo. I still believe that he's not on the same league with the Scorps first 2 lead guitarists but with that solo, he's telling it to the world that he can hold it on his own.
  20. Sid "Boogie" Fletcher is/was very good but I won't consider him a "natural" like Vito Bratta. There is this thing that you will hear in guitarists that can make you say that this one is a "natural" or virtuoso or not. That's not in how many notes one guitarist can cram in a second but it's that something special in their sound. Like Vito Bratta and Steve Lynch. Their solos in one whole album are just 3 songs in comparable to a Dream Theater album but I don't hear what Vito and Steve have from John Petrucci. Popularity, as well. Kirk Hammett is the most popular guitarist who ever played thrash but not as good as the great Alex Skolnick.
  21. There was this other Marianas Trench from Illinois. I think they're grunge. I used to see their CDs everywhere when I was down there and still sealed.
  22. Backed 100%! Just because you've been in the business for 200 years doesn't mean that your playing is exceptional.
  23. Don't ya make fun of my friend!!! He's got the MOST hardest to find hard rock CDs ever!!!! I don't care about your Sgt. Roxx and Kidd Wikkid, Rafo has an original Steel Dragon (YES! STEEL DRAGON w/ Bobby Beers) debut in silver backed, factory pressed released in 1981. As well as Spinal Tap's SHARK SANDWICH (also factory pressed released in 1980). Now can you beat that?
  24. I've been noticing that he's not visiting here anymore. Also used to sense his presence in KISSMARthree but not anymore. What ever happened to our friend who una de las mas grandes rarezas en este mundo del AOR un album de gran nivel la voz de uno de los singers es alo Bryan Adams esa voz rasposa que le da otro gusto a los temas, hay variedad de temas desde plan rockeros a lo Adams pasando por sus baladas unas 4 y lo mejor claro en los temas AOR con magia 3 Joyas You’re the best! Around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down You’re the Best! Around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down You’re the Best! Around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you dow-ow-ow-ow-own Fight ‘til you drop never stop can’t give up Til you reach the top (FIGHT!) you’re the best in town (FIGHT!) Listen to that sound A little bit of all you got Can never bring you down You’re the best! Around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down You’re the Best! Around!????
