  1. Ugh.... new song has no balls... color me unimpressed
  2. Great album, but absolutely NOT Giant.... that fact in itself is going to hurt this album for those people who are 100% expecting the Dann Huff sound. Replacing a part of a band here or there sometimes it doesn't affect the band itself, but when you try to replace the main songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and pretty much the person who was Giant, now you have a problem.. This is no different than when Motley Crue release their album in 94 with John corabi on vocals. Absolutely killer album but the fact that they called that Motley Crue is what killed it
  3. If you like these guys, this is the lead singers previous band. https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=2774&CDName=Nerveblock
  4. Synth Autotune.... Max Headroom goes Metal?
  5. My big 3 Gotthard albums were the first 3. They seem to have softened up after that. Still good, but they lost a little of that gritty edge
  6. Local Minnesota band. Great guys! https://sleazeroxx.com/stormbreaker-to-release-debut-full-length-album-strike-the-match-on-november-5th/
  7. I would call it complete shit, but shit actually has some good uses
  8. Doing this version a hurricane is a lot like doing giant without Dann Huff.... it seems like some magic is missing
  9. Kenny McGee..... the voice behind the band's Julilet and Heartless just released an onslaught of 27 songs from his vault.... I absolutely love what I am hearing so far. http://www.eonianrecords.com/blog/kenny-mcgees-heartless
  10. I've always liked Readmans power and range as well as his bluesy voice. The guy can cover so many styles with the way he sings but good Lord, does he sound like David Coverdale and this song
  11. I was actually very surprised by this release, although I do agree that they need to ditch or reduce the amount of keyboards and add a second guitar player. Johnny always sounds good and is one of the few vocalist that can still sing everything they did in the 80s. Lots of good guitar riffs on this album thus far....
  12. You spelled "Fookin Fury" wrongly
  13. Local to me Minnesota Rockers just put together a new band. Check them out! https://sleazeroxx.com/premiere-of-a-rising-forces-video-for-new-single-love-and-war-on-sleaze-roxx-mini-interview/?fbclid=IwAR0Wf_kWn-LYKsf_nGNlYafjZ0xOWGf30ThWbKqGNXr4wnl_A0pdSsVOCGA
  14. I have the T.A.X. demos and several of them ended up as Charade and Jaded Heart tunes.
  15. This was Robby Boebels side band from Frontline. A couple other members from Frontline also joined him
  16. I still wouldn't trust him.... that bridge burned a long time ago and there is no way to rebuild it. Too many people have been screwed over by this ass hat
  17. It was a little odd for me back then, but I liked their stuff. My 13 year old loved it along with the band Lillix
  18. Cut the keyboards back a little and amp up the guitars. Other than that, sounds great
  19. Not too bad, but you can tell that they completely skimped on the production. And then throwing and yet another version of Burning Heart? How many times are they going to re-record that?
  20. What fetish porn site were you looking at to find this, Geoff??????
  21. Very Cool Tribute to all the frontline workers out there dealing with this CoronaVirus. They did justice to the original version done in the 80's. https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/long-island-rock-metal-musicians-cover-hear-n-aids-stars-for-covid-19-front-line-workers/
  22. GoFundMe link added to my first post
  23. We lost one of our long time members last night. I'm almost positive anybody and everybody who has traded CDs on this website has traded with him or got to know him in some way. Tim fought long and hard for most of his life dealing with different medical issues including kidney transplants as well as liver and pancreas, and other things. Through all of that he still remained a kind and passionate guy and would do anything for anyone. He finally was getting everything put together and got transplants that worked so he could have a normal life a couple years ago. He even got married last year to someone he met from his church. Couple of weeks ago he got admitted into the hospital for some infection in his leg called cellulitis. That infection started messing with everything else going on including screwing with his pancreas and liver. Somewhere in the midst of all of that he contracted the coronavirus in the hospital. After a couple of days on a ventilator and life support, his family was told they needed to turn it off last night because of his conditions. He peacefully passed away last night. His mom has started a GoFundMe page to help his family and with some other things. https://www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-services-for-timothy-allen-dever
  24. Hopefully it'll rock better than Dino's project with Lynch. That fell flat on it's face for me.
  25. I'll take the original Abba version and Peter Cetera version over this...
