I watched a few of the other posts from the HP set, sounded great. Must have been a really exciting weekend between seeing a nice mix of bands plus getting to perform with those guys.

That is unexpected, but very cool news

Sounds promising

New songs sound pretty good and still show a strong Thin Lizzy influence, which to me is a good thing, as they are one of my favorite 70's hard rock bands.

Sounds a little rough singing Everyone's A Star.
Yeah, watching that live video has lowered my expectations even further with regards to the new album as I am sure they are redoing the vocals with this new singer.

Good tune

This is a pretty good album. At the moment it seems like the only way to get a physical copy on cd is to get it from the band. I didn't see it for sale on the band's site, but they mention, on their FB page, that it is available on cd.

Finally got to listen to this one. I liked the debut and their second release picks up right where that left off. If I had to choose between the two, I think I would give a slight edge to Play II Win. If you like Bonfire and Casanova try to check this album out.

Listened to this today, and thought it was a pretty good album. As you can tell from the samples, it lacks the polished production of their first two and doesn't have any real standouts like So Savage the Heart. But is solid from first track to last and if you liked their In the Beginning...Persuaders you will probably enjoy this as well. I believe about half the tracks on Revelation Highway were also on that recording.

I have not yet listened to either of these releases from the Moonkings, but have always liked Vandenberg's earlier work. I will add them to my list of ones to try and check out
-
Great tune, and it looks like the album is now scheduled to be released next month (12/8) instead of next April

Some really good tunes, looking forward to hearing the rest of the album

surely they could do better than that? terrible cover.
yeah, hopefully they reconsider that cover artwork before this one comes out next year, that is horrible

I gave this a listen today and was impressed. Good stuff

Twisted is vintage Jeff Waters and Pieces of You is a pretty good tune. I gave this album a try having been a fan of Alice In Hell and Never, Neverland, but those two tracks are the only real highlights for me.

pretty good tune

I thought tracks 5 & 7 were a little weaker than the rest, but overall it is a good album and most fans should enjoy it. That said, if I were to rank it in L.A. Guns discography I'd probably place it 5th or 6th best at the moment (S/T, Cocked & Loaded and Waking the Dead are my faves). The style is similar to their first couple releases mixed with a little punk rock influence, like they used on Vicious Circle.

More good recommendations Mr. AOR. Some I'll be adding to my playlists and a few of them I was completely unfamilar with so I plan on checking out those albums.
-
I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this one. I listened to it again this morning and think it is a pretty good album.
-
I've wondered the same. I too consider late 60's through late 70's to be Classic Rock and I have several cds from bands of that era in my collection.
-
Add this one to the growing list of really good releases this year. I listened to Incendiary this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it.
-
Another pretty good track, I'm glad they chose to record an album that has a similar style musically to their first two releases
