Agree with the positive comments, several good songs on this album. In a typical year this might have cracked my top 10, but this year it fell a little short for me.
-
This one had a few fillers but also had a couple of really good tunes that make it worth adding to the collection
-
I purchased this back in '88 based on a few positive magazine reviews and really enjoyed the album. I sought out their debut album a short time later and liked that one as well.

New thread idea. Going to pull a forgotten band and CD out from the 80's or 90's to discuss. Maybe get the disc a few new fans.
Today's forgotten CD is "To Mock A Killingbird" by the band PARIAH.
I really liked this disc. It was a breath of fresh air in the glut of crappy bands and the beginning of grunge/alternative.
I had read good things about them before they were signed. But when this was originally released the album cover made me think it was an alternative or grunge style. I decided to take a chance on it and was glad I did.

Congratulations, that is exciting news. Glad to hear the band received that acknowledgement for all their efforts.

It's been awhile since I listened to these guys, but I recall liking the debut and the follow up Vices being solid. From the write up it seems like only the singer remains from original lineup and unfortunately this first track sounds average to me

While my favorite duo would probably be Hall & Oates, my favorite song by a duo would be Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World. This video is of a really nice live performance of that song

A few days ago someone asked Kane Roberts on FB when we can expect to hear some new music, Kane replied "Will be up to Frontiers but the CD will be delivered to them by the end of 2017".

Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation
Fifth Angel - Time Will Tell
W.A.S.P. - Inside the Electric Circus
-
That's great news. Another one to look forward to in 2018

Interesting. Melodic, power metal with sci-fi themed lyrics. At times it comes off sounding like a video game soundtrack, but not bad. I'll give them points for being a bit different.

The Northern Irish rockers are back with their fourth album following a PledgeMusic campaign.

That first track sounded pretty good, look forward to hearing more from these guys

Nice!

I thought Global Warning, from 2007, was the band's best release and I was looking forward to hearing this one, especially with Andrew & MRR involved. These new tracks come across as a heavier Newman album, with Steve's unique voice. That isn't a bad thing, but Burn seems to have lost some of it's identity with the lineup changes.

The debut and Salutations were great, but I stopped following them after being disappointed with Chill Pill. Kory's voice sounds pretty shot, but I'll check this one out.
-
First ones that come to mind for me would be
- AC/DC - Thunderstruck
- Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
- Def Leppard - Rock of Ages
- Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train
-
While I wouldn't put this album up there with PC69's best releases it has some pretty good tracks on it and I enjoyed it more than Ceremonial
-
Heavier is fine, but outside of a few tracks their State of the Empire and Wicked Underground releases didn't do much for me.
-
I'd be excited if they were really going for that vintage Dokken/early Lynch Mob style, but George and Jeff have unfortunately disappointed me with some of the prior collaborations without Don. That said, I'll check it out if it ends up getting released next year as I do like Mason and George used to be one of my favorite guitar players.

Not what we're used to from Rick, but sounds interesting

I watched a few of the other posts from the HP set, sounded great. Must have been a really exciting weekend between seeing a nice mix of bands plus getting to perform with those guys.

That is unexpected, but very cool news

I enjoyed this one as well, song strength drops off a little towards the end, but worth checking out for those who haven't heard it before.
