  1. No its not but that was wrong on many levels too. However Queen with Adam Lambert was excellent. And no I am not being sarcastic this time. ?
  2. I've seen these guys before and yes good stuff, however the singer is tasty. Nice and swirvy = excellente!
  3. Couldn't disagree with you all more. Cool song, very Extreme meets Roxy Blue with a smattering of Trixter in there too. The singer is a wild card and it is cool that he looks like he should be fronting the Backstreet Boys, yet rockin' out. The video is nice, no better way to get me to watch than throw in a gaggle of chix. Yep.
  4. Song is boring and the "singer" can't sing unfortunately. Geoff I believe the ignorance statement is directed at those who take lives, terrorists, all in an excuse to appease whomever they worship. Kind of the opposite of true definitions of most religions which preach forgiveness and acceptance.
  5. Backed. The song is boring sorry to say as is the video... I'll stick with "All We Are" and earlier stuff.
  6. Certainly a boatload of drama and what if's unfolding. Fun to read about but ultimately the result has zero impact on me as I won't shell out $50 to go see them. I saw them on the Flick of the Switch tour and that was epic enough to last a like time.
  7. Dark House. Another fair ghostly horror movie with Jeff Combs at the helm.
  8. My daughter (15) wants to see this badly. On topic: The Favor not a bad little indie thriller. Not a lot of budget and the acting is pretty stiff, but there is a Jeffrey Combs cameo so there you go.
  9. The Visit surprisingly good for a PG-13.
  10. Ritchie seems to be a bit of Diva eh?
  11. Just finished Black Hole by Bucky Sinister a very good read. Starting Still Standing also by Bucky Sinister
  12. Couldn't have said it better myself and I am a massive DRN fanboy. Drove down on New Year's Eve to see the network and the Cherry Poppin Daddies at the Rosland theatre supporting The Heat tour and loved every second. I even have two different copies of Breathless on cassette (different covers slightly). Amazing band and follow all the off shutes like Generator aka Slowrush.
  13. That Sausage Party looks funny. Scouts Guide to a Zombie Apocalypse this was really quite funny. Room watch this one if and only if you spend your Saturday's watching the Lifetime network and your Sunday's watching the Hallmark network. Academy award huh. WTF for?
  14. The Chipmunks Road Chip Good family fun. Fourth film in the new franchise.
  15. Yum is absolutely right. The solo is nice but the group would be more appealing sans the male vocalist.

  17. Some ferocious Japanese hard rock can be heard here: https://myspace.com/absolute2009
  18. Yes those "vocal gymnastics" are pointless and dumb.
  19. Has anyone spun that Razzle yet? I haven't had a chance and I am curious of the Trixter claim? I did find and listened to this and it is really not bad (there are many more too):
  20. I don't think I've ever even seen a laserdisc. That was such a short lived phase. And way too expensive for my family. Oh you youngsters... 1978-2000 is hardly short-lived. In the '80s and early '90s laserdisc was THE goto format for cinephiles. I remember stores in the area doing laserdisc rental, Camelot Music had a laserdisc section, and there were even stores dedicated solely to the sale of laserdiscs. CAV vs. CLV... flippers... I still have a couple of Pioneer Laserdisc players sitting in a closet somewhere. Haven't hooked them up in years. Oh yes I had one it was early one to were you had to actually flip the LD to play the content. There is/was a store here in Washington that was the size of your local market that was called Silver Platters and it had 80% laser discs and 20% compact discs. Amazed how much $$$ we spent on VHS and LD and even DVD before everything got so throw away and cheap. I was just telling my wife as we were looking to take the children (4 of us) to see Star Wars while it is still on the bigscreen and she showed me the movie times and price. It would cost us $61 dollars to see this movie in the theater. The same price for us in a couple of weeks to go to Costco buy a BluRay player and the Blu Ray and watch the damn film forever and ever...Just illogical. Also my son and I were up North a few weeks back and we hit a couple of Pawn Xchanges (the go to places for my CD buying before they stopped taking them in and selling them for $.49 a piece) they had racks and racks of both DVD's ($1,.00 each) and Blu Ray ($3.00) each. For both mediums they had a massive sale on top of that. DVD 8 for $5.00 and BluRay 6 for $10! VHS tapes are a dime!
  21. Would love to hear that... Not my link, but I did nab it. Haven't given it a go yet however so can't comment on the quality... http://www.mediafire.com/download/qllr1qy98950k1v/RAZZLE-New-Vibe-Revolution.zip
  22. D&D for us Amerkins is a RPG (role playing game) long name Dungeons and Dragons. VERY popular in the early late 70's early 80's when I was in Junior High. Anywho, yes Geoff massive 70's hard rock influences but still carries over well into the 2k's.
