  4. Not a lot of info out there, shame when another artist slips of the radar with no notice... Did read that the cause was stomach cancer. RIP JD.
  5. Good for you, what burb? I work in downtown proper PDX 4 days a week. Lets chat a bit more and hook up for a meet n greet or some grub or something...
  6. OK Brian fill us in on more details from your really cool band! I dug a bit and unfortunately not a lot of info out there, too bad the music is great. Are you re-issuing the entire back catalog? If so on your own or are you in cahoots with someone? Spill the beans and send some swag my way.
  7. Funny thing, I saw these kids on the Disney network/channel, about a week ago, can't recall the video/song, but it was catchy as all get out and I thought "Geoff sure would dig these kids." Guess I was right. This is the song:
  8. Some days. To quote Gazzarri in DOWC part 2: "Sexy rock n roll clothing..." would be best all the time!
  9. All. I'm back! Well the move was as successful as a move can be. And yea, the old house we were renting the owner decided to give it to his son. So, being at the end of our 1 year lease, we had to move, locally, but still a move. We actually moved a little further West, still in southern Washington, bout 10 minutes North of Oregon. A little town called Ridgefield. The new digs are better than the old and the family and pets like it a lot more as well, so the vibe is definitely a positive one. Just got to get re organized and such. I tell you moving those 100 plus boxes of cd's and looking at them all avalanched in the garage...I probably would have given them to you just to make them disappear...well maybe not. Agreed. Moving indeed is the suckiest thing in the known free world. I told the family during the last move that I did not and would not do it again, I would hire out, but the timing on this was poor and funds are never enough. Wish I could be in one place for the last 20 years...
  10. Next time get your cell out and nab a few pervy pix for the rest of us to ogle...
  11. ...not than anyone will notice. Any ways. Here is to no injuries to life and limb and the stuff that gets stuffed into the truck. See you all in a few days! T
  12. Man Of Steel Good movie and an interesting new spin on the origins of S-Man.
  13. I have it and alas it is a cdr... In a jewel case. Folded once front sleeve with band photos and thank you's. It is good quality though and the disc itself has a glossy "sticker", not printed on the cd. The music of course is righteous!
  14. Part 2 of the Hunger Games trilogy . I liked this one more so than the first.
  15. Flippin' killer!!! Man this sounds like vintage Metal Church in the verse. Prime example, ala Overkill,of a band that gets better and better with each release and boy have they proved that they certainly are not in need of UDO to rock your socks off.
  16. Machete Kills Looking forward to more in this franchise!
  17. Uhuh, that's what I said/meant/whatever. The song in the thread from H&H was not a bad song just not my bag. AND that Chelsea Grin is and shouldn't be anybodies bag, YUK. Carry on!
  18. Appreciate the rundown. Gonna have to seek it out. Need to see that Dead Snow and revisit A18 too. The Mrs. doesn't appreciate a good q rated horror movie, go figure. You should hunt down The Tapes, no gore per se, but CREEEEEPY as all get out, imho. One of Those "found footages" deals. Got paned on IMDB, but don't believe everything your read right?
  19. https://www.facebook.com/monumentuk Official Merchandise @ http://mgrmusic.bigcartel.com/artist/monument Biography Formed in the streets of East London by vocalist Peter Ellis (Ex- White Wizzard, The More I See), MONUMENT is bringing back a sound that has been missing from the UK for nearly 30 years... True British Heavy Metal! With thunderous, melodic bass tones, dual guitar harmonies, rock-solid drum beats and signature falsetto wails, the band is determined to make a difference in today's Metal scene and is celebrating a sound that is rooted in melody and good songwriting that will inspire a new generation of Metal fans. True Metal is back in the Empire and MONUMENT will undoubtedly be the band at the forefront of this new wave. Very nice indeed!
  20. Mr. Postman brought these 2 yesterday: Sweet Leopard-Shock Me! Thrill Me! Love Me! (Band signed) & Undone-Words From An Innocent Man (Also Band Signed)
  21. Sounds pretty good. I like the raw feel at times of these hand held films, if done properly they are or can be quite suspenseful. I saw one a few years back that still haunts my memories entitled The Tape (shiver). The fam, watched Parental Guidance, Billy Crystal is rather annoying at (most) times, but the movie had the wife and kids smiling so its all good. tried to watch Hitchhikers Guide... and it was just not fr me, got about 45 in and let it go...
  22. Apparently the band had a different singer. This is his current band: WAYYY to screamo for my liking... and the Hearts and Hands is WAYY to mello Linkin Park for me too. Sorry.
  23. Lifelong "KIX KID" here and am glad and happy and happy and glad for anything more from KIX. Hardest working band out there and criminally underrated and awesome as awesome can be!
