Many Easter Eggs in that one.

That is pretty Epic.

4-SALE (featuring Claudia Haas) - We Get All (1988). I'm subscribed to a great youtube channel called "aorheartedwin". He posts some killer obscure stuff. This track is pure 80s.

I completely despise both of these teams, particularly Port Adelaide, but this is a perfect example of the Greatness of Aussie Rules Football.

Yeah, someone like Justin Trudeau. A Cunt is a Cunt, no matter what age. I believe that's a Biblical quote.

Revival Black 2nd Album Under The Light
Darkstone replied to martinsane's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
That's good stuff. I'll have to check out their first album. -
There's a good one called "The New Testament". Sorry mate, I couldn't resist. No disrespect intended.

On "Oscar's" night, Will Smith looked like he was from the Streets of Philadelphia. Jada Pinkett Smith looked like she was from the Movie Philadelphia. Too soon? Not my joke BTW, but it made me laugh.

Some interesting news for our Aussie members "SKID ROW Announce Aussie Tour | HEAVY Magazine" https://heavymag.com.au/skid-row-announce-aussie-tour/ -
I don't blame him.

Yeah, great memories. "Heart in Danger" was a huge hit here at the time. In recent times Jack Jones has been collaborating with another unsung Aussie Legend, Rick Price. "Not a Day Goes By" is as good as it gets AOR wise. As for Virgil Donati, what can you say but absolute Legend. "Soul SirkUS" is one of the Supergroups of all Supergroups. I remember back about 93/94, I saw a "Dream Theater" tribute band called "Theater of Dreams" perform "Images and Words" with Virgil on drums at a pub in Richmond. It was perfect note for note. I remember that it was the loudest performance I'd ever heard. My ears were still ringing well into the next day. Also, Virgil was the resident drummer on "Hey Hey It's Saturday" (Aussie Reference). On a side note, at the height of his fame, Jack Jones was banging Rebecca Gibney in her prime. The Aussies here know what a magnificent achievement that was.

Will Smith has lost his mind. If this is genuine, Chris Rock should have him charged with assault.

All aboard indeed!

The only things on fire were the PIES!

I posted Gary Shutt's "The Imperial March" in another thread recently, which prompted me to revisit his past projects. He's definitely a "quiet achiever" when it comes to our music, IMO. I have fond memories of obtaining "Sentimetal" back in the day, purely based on JSS's involvement. Here's two KILLERS!

R.I.P. Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins
Darkstone replied to whiplash1972's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
That's a massive shock! He was performing with the Foo Fighters in a one off show down here in Regional Victoria (Geelong) only a couple of weeks ago! R.I.P. -
I don't mind saying that this brought a tear to my eye and I reckon CTS feels the same way, also Auslander perhaps? The crowd "field invasion" when a player achieved a goal kicking milestone was common place and expected back in the day. The only two times in recent history this has happened have been for Lance "Buddy" Franklin. It's interesting that when he kicked his 100th goal (in one season), It was the first time in a while that this had happened and it was a different world. As a result, the AFL announced that anybody running on to the field would be issued with a $5000 fine. The third clip shows you how well that went. This time for his 1000th, the AFL basically sanctioned it. I don't know if this could happen anywhere else in the world without it getting ugly.

A nice new video and concept from "Gibson TV" with an interview between Robert Englund and Don Dokken. This is the first installment. It's quite long, but a great watch.

"Northern Kings" have two albums that are Pop/Operatic Metal covers. Some work, some don't. I think these ones work. I've saved the best for last. The cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a little gem and easily the best track from either album.

Yep, killer cover and it was preceded by this equally killer cover

Actually, the more I think about this, the more I like it. He's certainly got the chops.
