  1. Apparently it is the first time it's been breached since the War of 1812 though.
  2. Negative connotations aside, I've always thought that "Chlamydia" would make a lovely girls name.
  3. Swanee - Temporary Heartache. Talking about Jimmy Barnes, this is a track from a band Fronted by Jimmy Barnes' brother, John Swan. "Swanee" were quite popular when I was a little tacker. I had this track on a compilation cassette called "Rocktrip '82". I posted this particular video for Doggy. John Swan may have been a great artist, but he had shit taste in Football Clubs.
  4. If you're not familiar with them already, check out the "Australian Crawl" greatest hits.
  5. James Reyne - Motor's Too Fast. James Reyne - Hammerhead. James Reyne from the Legendary Aussie band "Australian Crawl", released his debut solo album in '87. One of the great Aussie AOR albums. I just posted another track from it in the Election thread and it reminded me of these two. I'll have to post some "Australian Crawl" stuff. Their 80's stuff is as iconic as it gets when it comes to Australian music and there's plenty of it. He has a very unique voice, but it worked.
  6. Nothing is obvious with you brotha.
  7. This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. 70 MILLION people voted for this guy! We're gonna see this shit all over the country. A lot of misinformation from both sides. Nobody's gonna what to believe. Bigger Empires than the US have come and gone. Are we witnessing the fall of Rome?
  8. C'mon Kouros, you must know that this story is from Bush/Gore 2000 and highly dubious at that.
  9. The shit is really hitting the fan now! Footage from Congress is unbelievable!
  10. ZZ Top - Doubleback. "Back to the Future III" is from 1990, so this is a possible "At the Movies" contender. I know it's already a Hard Rock track, but it could do with a nice Melodic Metal revamp.
  11. This shit is really getting ridiculous.
  12. I would've thought that even if there were thousands of copies of a rare CD, it wouldn't detract from the rarity or value of the original. Isn't that the whole point of collecting physical CDs? If not, then you all may as well embrace digital.
  13. Lesbian Bed Death - Give 'Em The Axe. Going thru the archives, I had to bump this one from "martinsane". Great band. The Lead Singer is just skanky enough to be hot.
  14. Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow. Those of you who have seen "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" will be familiar with this track by the "Soggy Bottom Boys". I love this old, old school Country/Folk stuff. These guys are an A cappella group BTW. Vocals, Beats and Harmonica. Just as a post script, it seems that the bitches really love a deep voice. I happen to wear a hat like the lead singer, as Doggy will confirm. My normal voice is deep-ish, but I do have massive balls, so I could make it deeper.
  15. Yeah, I was well aware of who Jeff Lynne was and although ELO were huge, I don't necessarily think that he was that well known personally.
  16. If that's the standard, then "The Traveling Wilburys" probably come the closest off the top of my head. Although, I'm not sure if Jeff Lynne could be considered a "household name".
  17. Warrant - April 2031. It struck me today that this is only 10 years away. Where can I get an aluminum pillow?
  18. It's laughable. I don't want the vaccine, but I can fully understand and respect those who do. To think of the massive effort involved with Research, Manufacturing and Distribution, to then have it all compromised at the very end with the easiest part of the process, actually Administering the bloody thing.
  19. Yeah, I checked and it's from "Romy and Michele's High School reunion", 1997. That whole soundtrack is filled with 80's hits. It's a possibility. Their first choice was an 80's song from a 90's movie, so It just depends on how often they go to that 80s well.
  20. Sounds great, but aren't most Frontiers releases "Super Groups"? That term gets splashed around quite a bit.
  21. Midnight Blue - Surrender. This album was a beacon of light back in our music's dark days of '94. "Sing me a song, my Son".
  22. Okay, the new "season" is under way. What do you guys think? I would love it if we could collectively guess them all.
  23. HIM - Wicked Game. I've posted this before. A great example of what a cover should be. BTW, the original featured on the movie soundtrack of the 1990 film "Wild at Heart". Could be an "At the Movies" contender.
  24. This has made my day! Thanks for the heads up Alpha!
