  13. Hi all, First of all, I have been very overwhelmed by the response to the 4 new CD's and I thank all our loyal fans from the bottom of my heart!! The 4 new CD's are of the highest quality we have released yet! I personally guarantee that everyone who purchases these discs will be 100% satisfied!! Now let me answer a few of the questions to the best of my ability. We have had a few complaints about the sound sample on our website. It's kind of weird because they work fine on my computer and some people say they work fine and some other say they don't. I will have to get our website tech to have a look into it! Jacob, thanks for all your help in getting the Jungle Blue CD out. Your name sits proud in the booklet and I'm sure you'll be happy with the final product. We usually sell new CD's on our website a week before the distributors get their hands on them. Shipping will only take about 5 working days to get to the U.K. and the U.S. They will get there before Christmas! And the other common question that we get is the track listing on each CD, so here you have it - Road Ratt - You Love Us 01 - Going To Eden 02 - Man On The Moon 03 - I'd Rather Do It With A Dog 04 - Lizard 05 - She Said She Said 06 - Would You Like To 07 - Fish 08 - Ask Yourself 09 - Boat Across The River 10 - Hey Now Taupier - That Was Then... 01 - Brotherland 02 - Celebrate 03 - Erotic Ball 04 - Pop Goes The Music 05 - Ghost Of A Lonely Heart 06 - Soul Brother 07 - Kayleigh 08 - In From The Rain 09 - Holy Man 10 - Sex And Romance 11 - She Tries Hard 12 - Change Your Mind 13 - Johnny Wannabe 14 - Teenage Lover Jungle Blue - Call Of The Wild 01 - Sho' Nuff Attitude 02 - It's Only Love 03 - Hey Baby, Baby 04 - Don't You Walk Away 05 - Let It Fall 06 - Until My Feet Are On The Ground 07 - Woah No! 08 - You & I 09 - Satisfied 10 - Get Down! 11 - Lazy Afternoon 12 - Sunday Moon (Instrumental) Bad Attitude - Prisoners Of Rock 01 - Stuck In U 02 - Down On Me 03 - Bad Attitude 04 - Way That You Rock 05 - Bad Boy Shuffle 06 - Prisoners Of Rock 07 - T'N'A Tonight 08 - Leaving You 09 - Highway 69 I hope that helps everyone out. Just to answer Geoff's question about the song titled "One Night In Your Arms" was from another band called Bad Attitude. Both bands are essential releases and the good news is that the other Bad Attitude will be releasing all their material next year!! From all the staff at Suncity Records, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and an ultra safe New Year!! Let’s make 2009 an even more rockin’ year than 2008 Kind regards Dave Suncity Records
  14. Great night Andre!! I was wasted after the gig, I really wanted to go to the after party but I ended up meeting all the guys from Faster Pussycat and caught up with Julez and Trixie from The Deadthings at the gig. I had a great night, I looked everywhere for Lindsay but had no luck. I really thought The Deadthings and Faster Pussyvat stole the show though... I love the Lynch Mob but was SOOOO disappointed that they didn't play anything from their second album. Just when I thought I was going to hear my favorite song of all-time (When Darkness Calls) live, they didn't play it - :-( Another one of my favorite songs ever is "The Secret" that they didn't play!! Oh well, I had a great night and when speaking to Faster Pussycat, they seemed to be really enjoying Australia!! Kind regards Dave
  15. Hi guys, Love hearing all your feedback!! I really need to get a link on the website with all the track listing!! Here is how many track will be on our upcoming 4 CD's - Taupier - 14 Tracks Jungle Blue - 12 Tracks Road Ratt - 10 Tracks Bad Attitude - 9 Tracks I hope that helps guys - I can't wait to the fans hear these upcoming releases!! P.S. If anyone else has any other questions, just post them here and I will get back to you as soon as I can:-) Kind regards Dave Suncity Records
  16. Guys, No need to fear the worst as Suncity Records has come to the rescue!! We will be releasing the whole "Last Call" disc in its full glory~~! There will be lyrics, liner notes, etc.. and of course will be pressed on a professional silver disc. As well as Alleycat Scratch we have signed 2 another killer bands that will be announced shortly... To all the many fans early awaiting - Road Ratt - You Love Us Jungle Blue - Call Of The Wild Taupier - That Was Then... Bad Attitude - Prisoners Of Rock We hope to have them released in no longer than 2 weeks. We have had some slight problems with the heavy compression on the tracks but we are now well on track in getting them ready for a near release. Thanks to everyone for their patience but as you must realize - 99% of all fans would rather wait a but longer and have a killer release than us doing a shotgun release where things aren't 110% how we want them. Kind regards Dave Suncity Records
  17. Hello all, Just a quick(ish) message to keep everyone up to date with everything Suncity Records. Dan usually updates this board with all the Suncity updates but hasn't been able to for the last few months. First of all we have just released 3 great new CD's - Lessdress - Dumblondes, Masque - Face First & Flash Addict - Live Fast... Die Pretty. All of the following albums have sold really well and a lot of people are saying they are our best releases to date. In my opinion, Lessdress's Dumblondes would have to be probably my favorite Suncity album to date!! That will only last until the release of our next CD (see below for more details). To anyone that hasn't got around to picking up the newys, www.suncityrecords.com is where you can purchase them from. Some people think that our price of $US18.00 per CD is expensive, but I can tell you that ALL of our CD's are worth the money. To the 12 paged coloured booklets to the heat sealed professionally silver pressed CD's to the incredible re-mastering job that our sound engineer does, if you like your Melodic Hard Rock/AOR music done professionally, Suncity Records is the place to go. Thank you deeply to everyone who has continued to support Suncity's quest in "Keeping the Hard Rock flame alight". I would be very interested to hear what all our Heavy Harmonies fans think of the new discs as well as our new signing. We have been very busy behind the scenes with a whole lot of new signings which are almost ready to announce. Most of the artwork for our next 4-5 albums are done, we are just waiting on the final contracts to arrive. Now to our new signing that I've been hinting at for quite some time now. Please welcome to the Suncity Records roster, Boston based Hard Rock act - Taupier!! Pronounced (toe-pierre), Taupier were undoubtedly Boston's best-kept secret of the Hard Rock/Hair Band glory days. Kept on ice for over 15 years, Taupier finally unveils to the world Volume I of the greatest Hard Rock tunes that were never heard - That Was Then...!! Was it that the world wasn't ready for this slickly produced guitar riddled foursome from Boston?, or was it a diabolical scheme plotted by a bunch of flannel wearing dudes from the northwest to prevent Taupier from stealing the thunder of the movement they were soon to unleash? We may never know. This could very well be Hard Rock Band/Album of 2008 because this is quite simply the strongest material I've heard in many, many years. The first thing I thought of when hearing these tunes for the first time was - WOW!! where were these guys back in the late 80's? All the talent, attitude & looks in the world didn't guarantee you getting signed back then, it came a lot down to good luck and perfect timing. These never before released on CD 14 tracks feature the racially euphoric Brotherland, the sensually funky Erotic Ball, the shoulda been a smash hit ballad Ghost Of A Lonely Heart (which will rank highly in ballad of the year) and the song that started it all, Change Your Mind. This debut CD appropriately named "That Was Then..." is only the tip of the iceberg of vaulted material that put Taupier on the Boston Music Scene map back in the late '80's and early '90's. Stay tuned for more "in your face" guitar driven rock 'n' roll from Taupier and Suncity Records in the near future. Go to the website and click on the previewed opening track and take a listen for yourself to the brilliant and powerful "Brotherland". Combine stellar production with influences from some of the greats - Lynch Mob, Extreme, Babylon A.D. and Lillian Axe and you will get Taupier. "Brotherland" will be the opening track off the soon to be released Taupier album "That Was Then...". Thanks everyone for your time and stay tuned for more exciting releases to be released in the not too distant future.... Kind regards David Moors Suncity Records

  19. I would love to know who he bought it off?? I hope it's not who we're all thinking of!! Kind regards Dave
  20. Hey Geoff, Is your copy of the Dirty Penny Cd in a full jewel case or is it in a single slim case?? Also, what is the packaging like?? Thanks buddy. P.S. Got some exciting news about the signing of one of Australia's finest AOR bands EVER!! Kind regards Dave
  21. Hi all, I'm sure Dan wont mind my right of reply if it doesn't turn into another bitch fight. Basically as you all know by Retrospect Records have announced (via this message board) they have signed Heaven's Wish which were once signed to us (Suncity Records). Now before Sam tries and make out that Heaven's Wish fell out with Suncity Records for any number of reasons I am going to give you all the true story. Suncity Records signed Heaven's Wish about a year ago and as time went on, things didn't add up, it turned out that Heaven's Wish didn't own the rights to any of their material. Back in the early 90's, Heaven's Wish signed over the rights to Universal Records for all their material including the un-released tunes that didn't make their first self-titled album (which is what we wanted to release). I got a few emails and a phone call from an affiliate of Universal Records and he told me that they still owned all the rights for the Heaven's Wish material and if we did anything with them we would find ourselves in court which is something that we really didn't want. Months on and numerous phone calls and emails later, we basically exhausted every avenue to release the Heaven's Wish material but it was just gonna cost us too much money and it wouldn't have been worth it. The reason nothing more was said of it on the website was because I always had what turned out to be unrealistic hopes that we could make it happen. Some things just aren't meant to be. [Paragraph deleted. -Dan] P.S. This is not going to turn into a fight, Sam and I will do the squabbling via email. Thanks for your time. Kind regards Dave Suncity Records
  22. Sam, In regards to the new Lorraine CD, Please comfirm if this the case?? The unofficial bootleg "Boys Nite Out" is silver pressed and the official Retrospect CD "Wanted" is a CDR?? Is this correct? P.S. I'll stick my head out and say that new artwork on the new Lorraine CD is killer!! I know the artist that did it and all his CD artwork is excellent. Kind regards
  23. WOW!! Another bootleg warning, what a surprise!! I unfortunately think we are fighting a losing battle. Take a look at Rock-It-Records for example. Everything that Rock-It-Records releases are just cheap bootlegs designed at a quick cash grab 'n' run. I always ask myself, how do people sleep at night knowing they are totally ripping not only the bands off but the fans who think they are getting the real McCoy. I just guess it takes all types of people to make up this world we live in. I don't believe in God, Karma or any of those fairytales but sometimes I wish I did, just for a bit of piece of mind. Kind regards Dave
  24. Hey Sam, Putting all our differences behind us, all the shit we go on about seems so minimal when something like this happens. It really puts everything into perspective. The very best of luck to your Dad man!! Kind regards Dave
  25. Hummmm.... I'm not sure what this wise arse is trying to do but it seems like I can't even say anything positive about Sam's releases?? I have never said I don't buy Sam's releases, it's just that before I do buy them, I have to know that the band is getting their rightful royalties due to Sam's checked past. Sweat Teaze, Boss, etc.... What don't you understand about that?? I pride myself on my morals, you can do what you want!! I have tried to refrain myself from answering these wise arse troublemakers (Mullethead comes to mind), this is my last time. Kind regards Dave Suncity Records
