I can't stop playing this silky aor anthem!!! I'm already drifting in my subaru impreza wrx waiting for the summer...
I listened to all 3 songs, and musically they are great.
Unfortunately they are waaaay to AOR for me and that kills them.
I'm not saying they should be different, obviously many here really like them, and if you described a band as a cross between Roxus and Harem Scarem I'd be sure that I'd be into them, but I thinki it's just been too many years since Roxus and for me that sound (keyboards and harmonies) just won't cut it any more.
I'd love to hear the songs with a heavier production and edge.
Anyway, like I said, everyone here is a fan, so enjoy.

Well, of all people Jill Stein was the one to call for investigation and recount on the machine-counted votes in the 3 swing states in question. Yesterday she started a fundraiser and already raised well over $4.5M - more than enough to fund the recount costs, so we shall see what will transpire. Maybe we wont have to suffer Pence after all (who imo is a lot more scarier than the Donald and would be the true driving force from behind) but in such case we definitely could have a civil war on our hands, beating UK to it.
How ironic that Trump was slammed by Clinton supporters for saying he may not accept the election result if he lost.
And now they want her to challenge the result for the same reasons that Trump would have
Ironic, or hypocritical?
I never supported either side -- I mean, I'm Canadian first and foremost -- but this whole campaign has made me see a lot of my friends in a new light. And I don't like it.

Maybe so. But wrangling all 5 original members together after an extended hiatus is no small feat. Seriously how many bands can you name that have kept their original lineup for everyone cd release and reunited again after X amount of years to go back in the studio? That's brotherhood!
Agreed.
Nice that a band seem to like each other and are able to be on the same page.
Take The Dog Off The Chain is one of my favorite songs.
A while ago my ex wife was doing the music for a hard rock club and she asked me to bring in a few songs to mix it up.
I put that one on and she was flooded with people at her booth asking who sung it.
-
Not sure if they "maintained the same lineup"
More like just didn't fight so much that they broke up and then called Jizzy of Corabi etc
Probably went on with normal life with the band in the background waiting for a time when it was right for them all to kick it going again, which I guess is better than hanging up the guitars and reforming with a big splash that turns out to suck.

Meh.

American Blitzkreig was a decent enough album
Most didn't like it, but likely they were expecting more of Nothing Sacred after a 10 year gap.... -
Mechanic Resurrection - I don't think I've seen the earlier ones (I possibly get confused with Transporter which I thought was average)
This was a pretty decent movie.
Standard formula, nothing too fresh, but kept on pumping along with enough action to keep interest.
-
That song was OK.
Pretty much trying to be Little Caesar, which is a good thing.Pretty nice guitar solo.
Obviously family & friends in the clip as the crowd
-
War Dogs.
Tries to be like The Wolf Of Wall Street type movie. Or Goodfellas to some degree.
Doesn't quite get there though.
Still a decent movie.

Perfection;
I was just listening to this the other day

Still only managed 2 listens lol.
I'm a busy bee these days.
Yeah I'm the same.
I've been listening to Dee Snider.
Looks like everyone else is doing Pretty Maids at the moment.
I'll get to it eventually...
Next year is looking like a great year for music as I am traveling heaps, which means I listen to lots of music on long flights and also when I'm in non English speaking places like parts of China etc
Catch up time...

Gonna go with this one today.
Amazing innovative song which holds up well today.

Bit too AOR for my tastes.
The first song in the thread was ok though (Any Other Girl)
The first two reminded me of 7800 era Bon Jovi a bit.
The song above bores me to death.

I like all those, but my favorite on the album easily is Feel What I Feel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIWZ6Kzwm7Y
Also like Bang (didn't at first)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW-AVCS7n4M
Same with Maybe (here's a song that is different, but who cares when it's a good song?
-
Songs on the album are either really good or pretty average, which is ok because the really good songs are good enough.

I read the cover as a reference to him exiting the band. Didn't think of the fire for a second.
Maybe some will see that though, which is probably reason enough to change it.

Yeah, to be clear, there's nothing wrong with the new guy's voice... he sounds a lot like Steve Lee, vocally. But he sure as hell don't write songs like Lee, and just plain and simply doesn't bring to the band what Steve Lee did. Absolutely nothing against the guy... it's a hard situation to come in to. It's no one's fault, it's just a sad fact that when Steve Lee died, sadly, in my eyes, so did Gotthard.
I do take each album on it's own merit, but I've found post-Lee albums to be dull and uninteresting, and anyone who tries to argue that a Warrant album without Lane has been anything even remotely on par with Warrant with Lane (apart from 'Belly to belly') is just insane.
Not sure where I wrote that post Lane stuff was on par with his stuff, but interpret it anyway you like I guess.
Some people just can't move on when a band does.
That's cool, but Steve ain't coming back.
Maybe the band should have gone out and got day jobs...
Maybe moving on with something is better than nothing...

What I've heard so far was pretty good.
I really like what GW did post Jack as well. One of the better recoveries from losing a singer. -
Not sure if they have toured Australia, but I've never seen them live.
Thought Nic was pretty much the perfect replacement for Steve album wise at least
-
I thought Bang! was about as good as it could have been under the circumstances.
Solid, good album for me. Better than Firebirth.Rockaholic was also a pretty great CD, but then I don't compare to old work.
Most Warrant fans will always be comparing everything to DRFSR and Cherry Pie.
I like to think I can listen to each album on its own with an open mind.
Which is why I love Belly To Belly, where most people don't give it the time of day.

Not a bad movie.
Bit of a slide for John Travota to what is pretty much a B movie.
I like revenge flicks, so I enjoyed this, even if some parts and lines were pretty predictable.
