  1. The day someone finds James' carcass in a shallow ditch wont come soon enough I really wish eBay will make it so the seller can see the bidder's info once a bid is placed. It will save A LOT of trouble for everyone if we can see this BEFORE the auction's end!
  2. Yeah, I switched to "responding to buyer's feedback upon satisfaction" feedback mode recently. Thanks for the info. Just to clarify it is Mike and he already paid me. Cheers Mike!
  3. This person earlier claimed he is from my city (San Jose) and wanted to visit me to "see my collection". He hinted he's HH board reader and made some comments about vegascds that made me suspicious, so I decided against inviting him over my place (I'm paranoid, I know ) Few days ago he bought 2 STEEL REIGN CDs off me using "Buy it now" and still hasnt paid me... I wonder who this could be... Regarding this MARIAN dude, I simply can't understand how so many people had troubles with him and yet he still has pristine feedback! Dont you guys leave appropriate feedback for such bogus buyers?
  4. Cool! The End is the first place I check for new releases too. Their shipping is a bit slow as they use independent shipping and packing service, but its free
  5. It's fine, especially if you know what you're gonna get and feel comfortable with it. I just thought you may not be aware. What EP we talking about that is $30 at Spinefarm?
  6. Better ask for your money back, emporior is well known "ruski" seller and most probably you're going to get russian stuff
  7. Who the f*** is Susan T? I have read all the threads but do not recall anyone with this name. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Come on man, don't get frustrated. Let them play their mind games. As far as I'm concerned everyone could have read the topics and register "susant" or "mickcorey" account whatever. I feel sorry for these folks if they are the bandpeople and finally want to cash in on their stuff, but without relevant info and with such feedback this CD aint goin to sell for $1000. I'd be suprprised if it even gets initial bid... Is it so hard to stop in at this forum after all those investigatinos and support and just say "hi, guys, thanks for the support, and btw we have an original copy for sale on eBay now"
  8. I was told they are offcial old-stock - recent warehouse find. I somehow believe them as I surely know those werent pressed in 300 copies (this is a hype someone created along the way). But they could be bootlegs anyway, who knows. In either case rbcmp3.com made it clear they will sell those on eGay until the market presaturates and the price drops down, and then will make them available at their site for direct purchase. Hopefully for $30 or even less
  9. Look who bid up to $514, I bet this CD could have made great source for next SG Records release
  10. Noone, I just received trade in with 3 copies the other day from a trader I previously trusted, but nevertheless, I got the bootlegs too Those things are elsewhere and no matter what you do you always end up gathering some...
  11. I agree with you in general. It is open economy here so everyone can determine their own price and if someone buys it, good for him! The problem that I see is if a deadbidder is going to bid on his auctions he/she definitely wont read all the gibberish he put in those red eye-bothering letters. I find it somewhat offensive reading all this assuming the seller put it simply coz he things all buyers are shit and trying to screw him. ...and man, if you going to sell Def Leppard for $30 and let it go in nasty worn jewelcase from barnsale with sticky fingerprints, cut-out, and sticker residue all over I probably would leave negative too Instead of writing all this useless junk he could put few words real desription, or a picture or two...
  12. We should write one of those "How to be REAL collector" guide here. Something like: 1. REAL collectors ALWAYS buy "Rare Imports" only, if it has the cyrillic writings on it, the better! 2. REAL collectors NEVER pay less than $40 per CD, if you pay less you are a wimp and poser 3. REAL collectors never bid on an auction not marked as RARE or HTF, remember, you are NOT interested in "common" stuff! 4. Learn how to milk the Smurfs. If you dont know, ask Jason FA-Q etc, etc.
  13. Check the adjacent topic for JAMES ARWINE
  14. Doesnt matter much to me if it is *FREE* delivery when their prices start from J10, which is $19. I'm cheap person <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's nonesence isn't it. Why are prices so varied over the world? With the dollar big slide it really is now cheeper for me to buy CD's from the US and have them shipped 6000KM, even without free shipping. I just have to be patient and wait 10 days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My thoughts precisely
  15. Doesnt matter much to me if it is *FREE* delivery when their prices start from J10, which is $19. I'm cheap person
  16. YEAH, just check the farce revisions he has made on his ALLEYCAT SCRATCH - Deadboys In Trash City CD! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Apr-30-05 at 07:13:23 PDT, seller added the following information: 1991 Roadrunner Records RRD 9331 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On May-01-05 at 05:43:23 PDT, seller added the following information: *ATTENTION*.....This is the correct year of release and label info for this cd...the Roadrunner year and number listed above is wrong and was a listing error....the correct info is:1993 Kick Your Cat Records/ACS Music That's what happens when you dont have the CD in possesion and steal info off internet The good thing is that some people have been retracting their bids
  17. He conveninently doesnt accept PayPal, and I know that many of us has reported him to eBay, but they hasnt booted him off yet... maybe he was clever enough and didnt use his real name wehn registering this new account or somelthing...
  18. I reported him to eBay too, but for some reason they letting him go
  19. Looks good, though, I wouldnt probably buy regularly at their prices even with the "free" shipping... The only problem I find is that their US site is for DVDs only?
  20. Why bother, people bid plenty as it is There will be tons of crying people in 4 days and James will walk away with $2,500-$5,000 quick cash... quite hefty profit I'd say
  21. OMG, haha! ...and there are plenty of people bidding on this idiot's auctions He doesn't accept paypal, else I'd HAVE bought something just to amuse myself by reversing the payment!
  22. There you go - rock on! I probably wouldnt listen to it after all the fiasco obtaining it, but its good to know you finally got it anyway What was the "extra shit" they sent ya for all the trouble?
