  3. Absolutely top AOR album. chock full of excellent songs, including the stunning ballad 'Words For The Mending Hearts'...one of the best i've heard in a long time and the pompy 'Malibu Pier'. It's nice and varied too, from the more pure AOR style, to the more rockier moments of 'Fire Burnin' and 'Love Riot''. .along with the fantastic Creye album, the best AOR album of the year so far
  4. It's a great album, but I think 'Wired Up' is much better. A bit pointless including 4 tracks from that as bonus tracks as well. Great to see it finally issued officially on cd though

  14. This is a bit of a lost classic old school AOR/Pomp album and a very good one it is too. I bought the Retrospect version of this years back, but will definitely be upgrading to this version...looks very good indeed with all the bonuses.
  15. This is a really strong album and one of the best of the year so far. It's criminally short at only 31 minutes, but it's top quality and anyone with a penchant for all things Westcoast, Toto and lite Scandie AOR should check this out immediately...Super stuff

  17. One of the best Melrock Classic releases so far. He's not the best singer ever, but some of the tracks on here are really great..Smooth light AOR of top quality

  21. One of the best modern prog bands around at the moment. 'Pitfalls' is a great album..the track 'The Sky Is Red' is a masterpiece. Try out his solo album '16' as well, quite brilliant

  24. Those Saga albums are the best they have ever sounded. Along with the Toto 'All In' box set, some of the best remasters I've ever heard
