  1. Very nice.. Can't wait for the next album
  2. Old Gods Of Asgard is Poets Of The Fall's alter ego band, featured in the Control and Alan Wake video games. All the songs from the 4 games plus a new track have been finally compiled into 'Rebirth: Greatest Hits' released 09-12-23.
  3. Great album..some real nice tracks and playing on this. More spins to come
  4. Wembley Arena (not the football stadium) is about 12k,so they will get fairly close i would imagine.

  9. Saw Poets Of The Fall at Rock City in Nottingham last Saturday. Never thought i'd get to see them, as every time they have played here previously, the stars didn't align. But on Saturday they finally did and they didn't disappoint one bit..An utterly fantastic show
  10. For me it's a good to great album. Maybe not quite as good as the first two, but not too far behind. As long as Pretty Maids aren't releasing anything, he can go on releasing stuff like this all day long. Quality

  14. I think he's done some stellar stuff over the years. His 'Less Is More/ Skeleton' discs were great, Frederiksen/ Denander & Jim Jidhed were good and the Spin Gallery and Radioactive projects were excellent, along with the first Prisoner album too which was one of my highlights that year. This one sounds well above average and LeBlanc sounds good as always.. I pretty much file this alongside the Cry Of Dawn disc also released this year and also solid.
  15. 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' is a brilliant, classic album...this isn't. Unfortunately I've heard this once...never ever again.
  16. Within Temptation - Bleed Out (Deluxe Box) Within Temptation - Live In Hell (Promo) Fist - Hot Spikes (Remaster) Karmanjakah - Ancient Skills EP. Karmanjakah - A Book About Itself Bring Me The Horizon - Amo
  17. I've supported the label a lot over the years, but my tastes have shifted quite a bit over time, so am now quite picky what I buy, especially from them. As you say, way too much that sounds the same, with the same cookie cutter approach to quite a lot of their stuff, which for my ears now is a big no no. There are exceptions to the rule and I will still buy some of their stuff, but the majority of it gets ignored, as there is so much better music/bands out there to spend my hard earned on. As mentioned, good presentation and distribution here, but unfortunately the contents are severely lacking in a lot of cases.
  18. Great album..very long at over an hour, but quality synthwave
  19. Not quite as good as the previous 'No Halos In Hell' but top quality.
  20. I've been spinning this one all week and it's another tremendous album. All of Robby's hallmarks are there, with the big Queen, Muse, The Beatles influences to the fore, but all moulded together to make Robby's trademark sound. A really strong set here, with some great musicianship, glorious harmonies, and a few 'quirky' twists and turns along the way too. 'My Friend (In The End), Show The Way and the excellent title track (that deals with Robby's sight loss) are my top picks, but over all, the whole album is a really excellent addition to his back catalogue, that is better then the previous 'Alliance' and equal, if not better than 2014's 'superb 'Bizarro World'.
  21. The Martin Bros. have absolutely lifted this band to the next level in the songwriting dept. Really good stuff
