If you paid via paypal, simply file a claim saying you didn't receive your merchandise. And if paypal denies your claim & you funded the payment with a bank account or credit card, contact them & file a claim for fraud. I've had to file a claim twice with my bank for a paypal transaction that went bad, & my bank reversed the transaction immediately. Good luck!

Oh yeah...Del is one of the best. No worries about any surprises when buying from him. His descriptions are right on. For the record, Koogles is right up there with him. I've bought several cd's from him, & not only are his descriptions accurate & honest, I get a kick out of reading his grading system! Truely funny stuff!

Just for arguments sake, let's say that Dave did post this with malicious intent...hell, the opportunity was handed to him on a silver platter. He didn't tell Sam to bootleg the cd...Sam did that all by himself. I would imagine that if Dave had chosen to keep his mouth shut about the whole thing, when it did come out from another source that Sweet Teaze was being bootlegged some people would wonder why the hell Dave hadn't posted the info to begin with since the band is signed to his lable. "Surely Dave knew what was going on" & so forth. Kinda caught between a rock and a hard place. You're way out of line LV KIX...Dave started this thread because Sam was bootlegging Sweet Teaze...not because he lost out on some band signing...& it looks like he was right on the money considering how quiet it's been over in the Retrospect camp (until you started posting). That plus the fact that one of the band members has posted on this issue as well? And the best you've got is to come back with "well, at least he has more bands signed to his lable"?...man, that's weak...plus, as T-Bone stated, totally off-topic.

From the samples I've heard, this one sounds great...scans look top notch...and to top it all off pressed on a silver disc...definitely a step in the right direction. I'll be picking this one up for sure. Congrats to Sam on a job well done!

Telling someone he is a terrible human failure and questioning his abilty to be a father. That's just low. Does anyone out there (80smetalcollector, Recordjinky) have a current list of what titles are pressed on silver discs? I think that those are the ones that most people here at the board would be most likely to pick up.

Weird...I thought I was the only one who heard the similarity between Bryan Adams & Leppard. "Thought I'd Died & Gone To Heaven" is the best song the Lep's never wrote. Would've been great to hear Joe come out & sing it during their tour together last year. Another band that cops Leppard is X-Sinner...the song "Livin' On The Edge" is a dead ringer for "Comin' Under Fire".

What's really scummy about this whole thing is the way 80smetalcollector has acted since joining our board...pretending to be just another fan/collector like the rest of us, while the whole time he has actually been a "mole", probably sent here at Sam's request. When you go back & read his posts, he starts off with the polite comments here & there...then slowly the Retrospect plugs sneak their way into his posts. Then he starts mentioning Sam by name...next he starts broadcasting coming upcoming Retrospect releases. Now all of a sudden he is privy to certain royalty rates info...I'd say this guy not only works for Sam, but he's a business partner as well.

It just seems to me that we can all have a discussion (re:argument) without resorting to the childish name-calling. I can't speak of Dave's business practices because I don't have any first hand knowledge of it...the only thing that I remember people bitching about was that Dave was SLOW to deliver product, but that when it did finally arrive, it was first rate.
