  1. I like it...a little more "Rock N Roll" than the first...a tad more "attitude", but still plenty melodic. I need to let it sink in a little more...
  2. It's definitely not as bad as it could be...but it's not as good as it could be either. I'm not even interested in seeing the video...I don't like all the interview clips in the songs either...I get it, I just don't like it. Time for Geoff to go, and stay, solo. Let Ryche go, IMO...if "not that bad" is the best they can come up with, time for Geoff to pull a Peter Gabriel...
  3. His voice, and a few choice musical moments, make it sound EXACTLY like Hardline to me. It's strong, it's melodic, it's got a good edge...all factors of classic Hardline. It may not have the production or the gloss (or the Schon) of the debut, but I like it...it's an enjoyable Rock record...
  4. I love the Hagar/Mikey combo, so I cannot WAIT to hear this album!!
  5. There are better songs to pick as a lead off... Funnier still, the opening 2 cuts on the album are not very good at all, but things pick up a bit with track 3. They chose to open a new album with 2 songs that are b-side quality at best...
  6. This album is going to be really good...I have most of the demos and, from what I can hear, once the guest singers start adding thier touches it's going to be awesome! Great hooks in these songs...
  7. I think its a very strong album...after 2 spins, I didn't think a single song wasn't good...Johnny still has a great voice.
  8. That album is straight up Melodic Rock GOLD!!! Love it...
  9. Ha! We've been talking about this RPG thing for quite some time now...a couple years? I hope we can get it off the ground because it promises to be cool stuff...
  10. It makes me sad just to read that, what a phenomenal band. Me too, bro...me too. They rule!
  11. Thanks dude...but only one of those songs is a new demo...the rest of them are on our debut album...but thanks for checking it out! Thanks to everyone who has taken time to check us out, and thanks to all here who bought our first CD!! YOU ROCK!!
  12. Divebomb Records is working hard to provide high quality music for hardcore music fans at a fair price. We'd appreciate it greatly if you'd give us a chance to serve you before going elsewhere (like Ebay). The Divebomb Records E-Store is 100% secure and accepts PayPal. Thanks to all who have shown interest and to who have ordered...it is greatly appreciated!
  13. DIVEBOMB RECORDS is a subdivision of Tribunal Records, Inc. We have started Divebomb Records in the hopes of reissuing albums we feel should not be out of print. The label will focus on various types of Metal released in 1980's and 1990's. Hard Rock, Hair Metal and even Thrash is being considered for release. As with Tribunal Records we will not limit ourselves to just one genre from these eras. We grew up on so many different forms of Heavy Metal that we want Divebomb Records to reflect that now. Our current releases: TKO - In Your Face TKO - Let It Roll DIMAGE - It Takes Time COMING SOON: For more information: http://divebombrecords.bigcartel.com/ For audio samples: http://www.myspace.com/divebombrecords
  14. Bon Jovi - s/t easily wons over OTtN 7800 trumps HnD for me, only for mostly nostalgic reasons...and "side 2" just kills! Pyro took out SWW without even thinking, although SWW has some good stuff on it. Hysteria by a nose over New Jersey...that one I had to think harder about. KtF over Adrenalize...because IMO "Let's Get Rocked" and "Make Love..." bring the album down, and KtF is strong all over, with only "If I Was Your Mother" (IMO) being a speed bump. These Days won over Slang because it is hands down my absolute favorite Bon Jovi album...while Slang is in my Top 3 albums for DL.
  15. Between 2003 and 2006, I had a financial issue & had to sell a LOT of my collection. I've been replenishing lately, but it's slow going and I'm having to be picky. Some stuff I no longer have that I WISH I did: ALL the Pink Cream 69 CD's (thru Thunderdome) ALL the Pretty Maids CD's (thru Planet Panic) ALL the Harem Scarem CD's (thru Higher) ALL the Journey CD's (from Infinity thru Generations...I've replenished some of these) ALL the Giant CD's ALL the Bon Jovi CD's (thru This Left... + box set) ALL the Kansas CD's + box set) :sigh:
  16. Today: Slip Of The Lip - Ratt Voodoo - Black Sabbath Cedars Of Lebanon - U2 When The Reign Comes Down - Holy Soldier Opus Insert - Kansas I Don't Need Anymore Friends - Collective Soul It's Over - Goo Goo Dolls Bright Lights - Matchbox Twenty Razor - Foo Fighters Long Way To Go - Talisman Stranger (With A Familiar Face) - Fates Warning Potato Head - Paul Gilbert So Blind (Acoustic) - Harem Scarem Sapphire (instr) - TNT Don't Come Easy - Harem Scarem Smiles Like A Child - Hurricane The Walk - Hanson Short Flight To Mexico - Winger Truly Believe - Edwin McCain No Line On The Horizon - U2 Automatic - Fair Ground Domino Effect - Gotthard Talk To Me - RTZ Sentimental Street - Night Ranger I Can't Stop Loving You - Keith Urban Family Tree (demo) - Jellyfish
  17. Putting Richie Kotzen in Poison was a MAJOR upgrade. They were not bad before, but the Native Tongue album is really good...probably the best thing they ever did...the album w/ Blues Saraceno wasn't bad either.
  18. Point taken, I'm just calling them like I see them.
  19. Glad we could oblige. Thanks for checking it out.
  20. You can't possibly think she sat and wrote that song all by herself. Anytime her or Britney Spears or Avril Lavigne get a writing credit, it's because an actual songwriter took part of a lyric or maybe a tiny vocal melody and wrote an actual song from it. It's better to say she "sometimes helps" write her own songs...don't believe everything you read in liner notes. You want actual "kid" songwriters/musicians, look at Hanson ten years ago...Taylor Hanson has more talent in his hair folicles that Taylor Swift could ever hope to attain. I never said it sounded "young"...I said she was boring and weak. I don't care how old she is. I completely agree with this entire statement. And, as for Nickelback, I like them well enough...not a major fan or anything...but I do have to say that "Gotta Be Somebody" is ridiculously infectious...LOVE that chorus.
  21. I'm holding no high expectations for any new Ryche...once Tribe disappointed me (the first Ryche CD to disappoint me compeltely on first listen), I've just been uninterested. I'll check it out, of course...but I'm not expecting much. I'm not going to say it sucks or anything...I'm just going to say that they've grown into something I'm not interested in any longer. I liked HitNF instantly when it came out...Q2K had enough cool tracks to not totally let me down...Tribe was just not hitting on any cylinders at all for me...O:M2 was just "OK", IMO with a couple of cool moments. Bands change I guess...can't stop it...but I don't have to keep following them.
