I agree with this as well...NFL overtime rules are horrible.

100% agree. I told a vikes fan already this morning....I could have complained about the officials not calling the face mask on Aaron Rodgers in overtime but when you give up 500-600 yards of offense to another team in their stadium you cannot get after the officials. Sure, bad calls suck but they go both ways.

Yes that's the same place they had tried to move it to at the last minute. The promoters for that show supposedly are involved in the newly announced midwest rock fest(I think that's the name) in Whichita, Kansas. I how in the world these guys could get any bands to show up considering a lot of bands probably lost some coin and wouldn't trust that the gig would actually take place.

Well, cover charge for the Dirty Penny/Hairball show is $10 at the door...what do plane tix from down under to the states cost these days, $1,500? Think you could hang around long enough to buy my way into 150 concerts?

Bad calls in favor of the Vikes though too. I am a Packer fan, and yes, I loved seeing THAT EGOTISTICAL MORON get pounded. But at least two that I can think of is the late hit out of bounds. Did the Saint defensive player even touch him? Roughing the QB. THAT EGOTISTICAL MORON had the ball, just released it as he was getting hit...what is the defensive player supposed to do? Plain and simple though...if the Vikes don't put the ball on the ground and THAT EGOTISTICAL MORON's final interception, they kill the Saints. They were all over them.

I somewhat hear ya DT. For me I can get into a song or 2 from a early to mid 70's release but not the whole cd. Then from mid-70's on I enjoy more of the entire cd...but it's hit n miss. It's just personal preference. I like Journey, they have a lot of good songs. But if someone asked if I wanted to hear Journey's Infinity cd or Hurricane's Over The Edge, I am going with Hurricane and most other 80's bands. But to mix it up now and then, throw me some Journey. Same is true from the other side for me. Sometimes I need to hear some Spineshank or something newer, heavier...just for a bit.

I decided yesterday afternoon it was because you were not just Rick, but you are Evil Rick. Seriously though, I did end up getting a message from the website admin and they got it straightened out and I placed my order as well. Not sure how I missed the fact that you didn't need a login to order as that seemed to be the path it took me. Anyway, all is good. I was looking at those 3 Tora Tora cd's with demo's etc, I am gonna check out the samples and consider those.

I'm the same but replace "Shit" with the word that rhymes with "Hunt" I actually use all of them except the Mothers Cookies thingo' The "Mother's Cookies" is a movie reference from Nothing To Lose with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. Too hard to explain you just have to see that part of the movie. I use it as a curse when I am only mildly pissed off, more frustrated, and it sometimes has the opposite effect of putting me in a better mood because that scene in the movie is funny.

Did you listen to it yet and if so, is it like Skid Row? Or who would you compare it to?

I know a lot of excitment on my part. Not a lot of cheers and whistles in the past for these guys on this board but I think these guys f'ing rock and now I see they are touring and coming to Minnesota and Wisconsin. I live in Wisconsin but close to the Twin Cities so I will probably check out either the Winona or Fridley show. Really, if you like balls out sleaze with attitude you need to pick up both cd's. They have a video on their website for "If I Were You I'd Hate Me Too" and it does a decent job of bringing back memories of those basic 80's rock videos. Did anyone order these 3 cd's and listen to them yet? The samples from FNA records do not sound much better than the MP3's I already have. I'll probably order them this weekend to put them into the official Jeff's Dirty Looks collection but I was hoping they would really sound good. Anyone?

My take: I don't care. They had some good early releases and I liked Permanent Vacation, Get A Grip and Pump but after those...boring. Just my opinion, obviously they have a big history and following.

My opinion on the Steel Panther debate is that it is the type of music that for the most part should not be "reviewed" in the same group as the more typical releases. It's like reviewing apples and hmmm, apples sauce maybe? You just cannot have the same sort of expectations out of a release like Steel Panther's as you can from say, Winger, Danger Danger, etc.
