  1. I only really know Journey and Foreigner. Journey wins because of the better guitar solos.
  2. How about the fact that there's NEVER enough room to look around and the cases are ALWAYS broken. Or the CDs are VERY scratched. The inserts are wrinkled or have stains on them. Too many to mention!
  3. Van Halen - Cabo Wabo Allman Brothers - Jessica GNR - Locomotive, Novemember Rain Winger - Headed For A Heartbreak Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
  4. Yeah I often wondered about Buckethead. I have four of his CDs and I never got into them to be honest. thankfully it only took me one cd to understand this... Yeah I got Crime Slunk Scene and loved that so much that I went a bit mental buying another three of his CDs. Big mistake. Awful crap. I love instrumental rock guitar and he is the only one I don't like.
  5. OK, I've had a listen to that one. And to be honest I hadn't heard that one before. I agree it belongs on here but I still don't like it! It sounds a bit too modern for me. But if you like it and want it here, I have no problem.
  6. OK Dan I will give it a chance and reply to tell you what I think. I will listen with an open mind.
  7. Yeah you're right. As long as Bryan Adams has been added at last I can sleep more easily at night!
  8. To be fair, Adams sounds nothing like Radiohead. Radiohead are completely awful. Adams has had many a rocking moment. I am extremely pleased Adams has been added to the site. I don't know Marx that well. From what I've heard he's even poppier than Adams' music but oh well. I don't know why everyone hates the big movie ballads like Everythin I do. It's brilliant and I listen to it regularly. That Aerosmith one Don't wanna miss a thing is great too. I just love ballads I spose...
  9. EVH pisses me off. His ego messed up a good band and lost him two singers. All I ever hear in the news about him is that he has cancer or is dying or he's having another spat with a singer. Release another album or I'm not interested in anything he does anymore. I spent years following his moves and hanging onto his every word. Sorry if that sounded a bit morbid!
  10. I didn't mean ALL people who listen to Nickelback are pussies. What I meant is that I associate Nickelback listeners with kids who know fuck all about music thinking they're "rockers" because they're into Nickelback when chances are they know nothing about the other bands out there or about where rock and metal music came from. That's just whom I associate Nickelback fans with. Guys on this site who are into them are OK because at least they don't just like Nickelback. In my opinion however, Nickelback sound the same on all their songs and it astonished me that they were allowed on here when classic rock pioneers BTO and GFR were not. Just my two cents and I in no way intended to equate guys on this forum who like Nickelback with pussie teenage wannabe rockers.
  11. Man isn't he dead already? Old has been. Release another album or do SOMETHING or else get out of the limelight.
  12. I couldn't agree more. Bryan Adams is left off this site as well as Grand Funk Railroad and BTO. Yet crap like Nickelback is allowed on. Nickelback is for all those pussies who think they like rock and want to be rockers yet don't want to be sad enough to like old 80s bands. I equally like this site and forum as the likes of Nickelback weren't allowed here. We live in dangerous uncertain times now and I think allowing Nickelback on here has opened the doors to some very dodgy stuff being allowed on here.
  13. Haha Bang Bang was stuck in my head for a long time too. WHy Can't This Be Love by VH and Sweet Child O' Mine were stuck in there too. Every day a new song is going around. Today it's While My Guitar Gently Weeps by Vinnie Moore.
  14. Van Halen for me. They hold a special place in my heart. Europe and Autograph come a close second and third.
  15. Yeah I often wondered about Buckethead. I have four of his CDs and I never got into them to be honest.
  16. Hi. The guitarist from Angra, Kiko Loureiro, has done a couple of instrumental albums, as Angra is on Brutal metal, should I upload those CDs to there or to heavy harmonies. the albums are more suited to heavy harmonies I'd say.
  17. A toss up between Vixen and Saraya. Saraya's two albums were more consistent in my opinion.
  18. The best version of Neil's instrumental masterpiece can be viewed here.
  19. I got "Rock The World" by Kick Axe recently and it is damned excellent. Sounds like a cross between 80s glam stuff and Nevermore. Weird but great nonetheless.
  20. Firstly I'd just like to say that I only like Ted as the vocalist. The three best ones off this are: 1. Shot O' Love 2. When She's Good She's Good 3. Good Time. Great stuff. They get better with each listen!
  21. Prepare to be disappointed. Haha I feel like someone's getting revenge on me or something! But since you added Eric Johnson I'll let this pass...
  22. Good point. Personally I don't understand people who hate this album. The whole album is full of great songs and is very well produced.
  23. I have Tokyo 1992 DVD and that is a VERY enjoyable concert! That's all I have apart from the videos DVD.
  24. Sounds awesome! If it is a new song, I'm REALLY looking forward to the new album!
