  1. Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to present the debut single, 'Tom And Ms. Amy Lee' from the new international metal group Venus 5! The single serves as a preview for the band's upcoming debut album, which will be released this summer. Venus 5 is composed of five amazing singers hailing from different European territories. In alphabetical order, they are: Herma (also of Sick N' Beautiful, another Frontiers recording artist), Karmen Klinc, Jelena Milovanovic, Tezzi Persson (also of Infinite & Divine, another Frontiers recording artist), and Erina Seitllari. Each vocalist is a unique and outstanding vocal talent, while at the same time representing a killer, unique visual portraying a character created for Venus 5. You will simply have to experience them with your ears and eyes to believe it. Stream/Download 'Tom And Ms. Amy Lee' HERE: https://orcd.co/tamal Born from an idea developed by the always creative Serafino Perugino, Frontiers’ President & Head of A&R, Venus 5 is primed to be one of the most fresh and exciting new musical prospects to emerge from the European metal scene in recent years. The concept for Venus 5 started with the idea of creating a “metal” version of pop projects like Pussycat Dolls and the like. Assembling the vocalists and musicians required a tremendous amount of time and energy as the right talent had to be in place to work together cohesively with great chemistry and to bring musical credibility to the project. The end result is that five outstanding vocal stars in the making have been brought together from different musical environments (and countries) to work together with the vision of creating a monster album that could be unleashed on an unsuspecting public. While comparisons to this being a "metal version" of pop projects might lead one to think that the visual aspect of Venus 5 would take the lead, please make no mistake, the music here is front and center. There was zero interest in making this strictly about appearance, which needed to be secondary to talent. A team effort by producer Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere, Timo Tolkki’s Avalon, Sweet Oblivion, etc.) and his team of writers, including Jake E (Cyrha, ex-Amaranthe) who co-produced the vocals, Stefan Helleblad (Within Temptation, who also plays guitars on the album), and Per Aldeheim (Def Leppard, H.E.A.T, Stanfour, etc.) have created an approach to the music which offers a feast of musical goodness. Venus 5 is certainly and highly recommended for all the lovers of the sounds in the current European metal scene, taking influences from, for example, Within Temptation’s latest albums and Amaranthe, but adding addictive, catchy melodies. A unique flavor that only Venus 5 can offer with such an outstanding amount of vocal abilities within the band. Stay tuned for news about the band's debut full-length, which will be released this summer! Line-up: Herma - Vocals Karmen Klinc - Vocals Terese 'Tezzi' Persson - Vocals Jelena Milovanovic - Vocals Erina Seittlari - Vocals Stefan Helleblad - Guitars Aldo Lonobile - Guitars Gabriele Robotti - Guitars Dann Arisi - Bass Alfonso Mocerino - Drums Antonio Agate - Keyboards, Piano, & Electro arrangements Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/Venus5Music https://www.instagram.com/venus5music/
  2. Last Slash album I even remotely enjoyed was his first solo album, and the songs on that I liked the least were the ones with Kennedy (especially the live GNR stuff). I just find his vocals with Slash annoying as he seems to be trying to sing closer to Axl than what he sings like in Alterbridge.
  3. It's becoming common in the last couple of years. I bought the last Ozzy album and wanted a signed copy, but the only way to do it was buy it with the 3 different versions of the cassette. This was the first time I saw it. Since then I have seen Maiden, Slash, Avril Lavigne, Shameless, Hell In The Club and several other bands all offering cassettes as an option, but this is the first time I have seen a band willfully turn their back on their CD buying audience when offering them. There are several bands that do special vinyl only releases, but these are usually live albums so never worry me. But the only way its acceptable to release new material with no CD option in my opinion, is if you are just releasing digitally to save costs. I upgraded most of my collection from cassette to CD over the years, and the main reason is CD's sound better and CD's don't get chewed up and snapped.
  4. Oh and Steel Panther have done it multiple times too.
  5. May be a record label rights related thing. Loaded on YouTube has that its provided to YouTube by Universal Music Group, and this album is on AFM. It's been getting more and more common for artists to release odd tracks here and there between albums. Diamante did one between her two albums, Band Maid do it regularly & Santa Cruz has done it a few times too. There's probably more, but that's the first three I thought of as did not download those songs initially expecting them on the next album, and am now having to work out what songs I still need.
  6. Reckless Love g71hSfp5mon3s57g90hd5a · 'TURBORIDER' RELEASE DATE POSTPONED BY A MONTH TO 25.03.2022 The album's release is pushed until the end of March due to the difficulties the record distributers have with shipments world wide. We did not want the people who have already ordered our record as a physical copy, to have to wait for a month while the album would be out already online and in some parts of the world. We wanted fairplay and the decicion was made together with our record company. Stay patient as we will come back with good news and awesome stuff leading up until the release!!
  7. From FB: In 2021 We Had No Shows.. So rather than get bored, we made another record. It’s a double album, called Dopamine, with 16 stonking new tunes on it, including this one called The Western Sky. Dopamine is out on April 29th, but you can pre-order it now on CD & vinyl, with some cool extra goodies (while stocks last) via the link below. You can see the full video there too. https://thunderband.lnk.to/DopamineFA Thanks BDLH&C
  8. Really annoys me with this shit. They are releasing on all formats except CD (yes even fucking cassette). When I commented on social media about no CDs, all they had to say is "no CD, but cassettes and vinyl are collectable" .. so are CDs for fucksake. Who the fuck actually gives a shit about cassettes and why has this started cropping up all of a sudden? I just got the new Slash album in the CD boxset and the extra tracks come on a fucking audio cassette that I will never play. If you are gonna release a new limited edition release like this EP, why cut out potential sales by excluding a much bigger number of people than those who buy cassettes?
  9. Apparently the cross dressing bloke with the beard is Australian ... says everything ha ha
  10. When I spoke to one of the band around the time the 2nd album came out he said that it was not available due to rights, so assume the label owned the songs but not the rights to sell them or something like that. All I could really take from the conversation is whatever deal was in place meant that when the contract ended, nobody could sell the music, not the band or the label.
  11. Ooh, was just playing the Hail to the heroes music video and started reading the blurb under the video and saw this interesting piece of info "The debut album, currently unavailable on streaming platforms, will be reissued by Frontiers at a later date."
  12. Oh and a collaboration with another artists called Endigo
  13. I have no fucking idea what I just watched, but in this age of Eskimo Callboy, I am finding myself enjoying some weird shit. Why is it though that I watch this and think this is what a band would be like if @Geoff created it?
  14. Just found this cover from last year. Not many people can do Miljenko justice when they cover his songs, but I think this is about as good as anyone could get.
  15. One semi decent face shot and it didn't look like him on drums, but it was still blurry. Have to say though, regardless of who is or isnt in the band, this is a catchy as hell song and the two guitar solos fucking rip. If this is the direction the new album goes rather that the last album and Moonchild, then it could be a true return to form and I would not care if Jesus, Hitler and Osama Bin Laden were members.
  16. Well it says that the upcoming single is the first from the new album, so am guessing neither of these two will make the cut. To my knowledge they released two non album tracks between Self titled and Bad blood rising (Skydiving without a parachute & Drag me down) .
  17. If this is the first song, looks like Moonchild and Crossfire don't make the cut, but then again they have a history of releasing non album singles.
