  1. The pledge is met if 100 buyers pledge $15 a cd, how cool is that. The target here isn't some astronomival amount you often see on pledge type sites. I reckon there's easily a 100 people on HH who'd be buying the Triple Threat CD if they heard the music
  2. This will be one of the albums of the year for anyone that buys the CD For anyone that likes Melodic Hard Rock, here is an excellent but sadly obscure album called 'WE AINT HERE TO DANCE" by a band in Michigan called TRIPLE THREAT thats looking to be reissued. Check out the songs & if you like it, join in the pledge & help ensure the release becomes reality https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/triplethreat/triple-threat-cd-release-of-we-aint-here-to-dance
  3. There;s some more bands being added on to this gig, it's looking very cool now
  4. In my chats with Erik, he is indeed looking into reissuing the Eclipse back catalogue although I think he mentioned he may have difficulty with the debut which is the band's most sought after.
  5. My take on the whole NEH & AOR Heaven's refusal to even consider stocking Targa & Stutz is that the bands are simply too obscure. Also, CD sales are a down turn overall & I'm sure those two aformentioned concur they dont sell as many cds as they did say decade back. Alot the sales through on ebay & amazon & the likes, have taken away the sales mail orders made.
  6. One thing that should be noted is that Alias album thats getting released, it was released on melodic rock records, wonder how does the label boss Andrew McNiece feel about this?
  7. Anyone going this gig, looks like a great line up! https://www.facebook.com/RockerzGoneWildPoolParty
  8. Anyone else go, this was sold out here in Melbourne The guys soundwave show was very bluesy, atleast thats what I got told for the Melbourne show.
  9. wow, truely dissapointed in myself for totally overlooking this release which is turning out to be very much a gem
  10. I'm looking fowrad to picking up the latest Vandenberg's album..... albeit ina different name, which i cant understand why.. but good seeing it's getting nice decent reviews
  11. Brother Firetribe's new album's gotta be another melodic rock genre's most anticipated albums to look forward to
  12. Marcello / Vestry could hopefully be a melodic rock records signing :) That band is sorely missed, atleast by me. What an freakin awesome debut they released.
  13. This could be one of the most eagerly awaited albums of the year
  14. It's so nice to see mhr alive & well enough to be performed by younger age groups here in Australia. I hope it inspires many more bands to be playing this style of music, given that the band are from Newcastle, home to Aussy hard rock icons The Screaming Jets & ofcourse legedary grunge hard rockers Silverchair... I'm hoping Hansel's the next big thing from that city.
  15. This was just available on tape & vinyl only as far as I know.It woud be cool if this was actually originally available on CD, however the band did issue these songs on cdr about 10 years ago.
  16. I'm looking foward to this album indeed
  17. I must say, the H.E.A.T b sides gets my preferance over the actual single, especially "Under Your Skin"
  18. Has everyone heard / seen this yet, the clip to the new single by H.E.AT ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f6D5qP9WAc&feature=share
  19. looking forward to getting the crowd funded version opf the album, 15 songs is generous
