I'm guessing cds take time to reach the amazon
-
I'm still to weight up the best version to get but I am thinking the Japanese 2 cd version with the bonus track and extra cd The Pledge version's pretty cool too, atleast the band garuanteed to get paid from thier pledge release
-
The album's European pressing is out next week followed by the Japanese issue next month. I'm keen to know if there are any bonus tracks on the Japanese pressing
-
Paul Laine looks set to return for a 2nd Australian tour soon. His country rock band Dark Horse could real good here given the strong music scene the genre has.
-
I'm, surprised there's been not much discussion on the latest Ten album, strange since they've got some big fans on this site.
-
can't wait for the Japanese issue with the bonus track
-
The album Bigger was a departure from the Def Leppard styled melodic rock that makes Pole Position's debut such a coveted gem IMHO. I didnt enjoy the album anywhere as hoped, sure the hooks and harmonies are present but they are delivered in a different way that didn't suit the melodic rock typical fan that enjoys the debut. The same is said about fellow Swedes Masquerade.

Bailey, 3 Lions, Rage Of Angels etc... looks like the U.K is starting to pick up on the melodic hard rock scene give the likes of Vega, Newman and ofcourse the mighty Ten good company
-
I am hoping I haven't come across what could be my biggest album disapoint of the year in hearing this song. The band appears to have headed in a heavier direction and downsized personel wise, ditching the keyboard player and a guitarist.
-
I will say this, the album will be heavily featured on top 10 lists of most people who buys it
-
This does sound the band has ventured in to a slightly heavier direction whlst retaining tier melodic identity I'm loving the drum work here though along with that incredible lead guitar work and the keyboards are outstanding

Ac/Dc preview of new song "Play Ball"
melodicrockoz replied to AlphaMale's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
me thinking the band gone back to thier 70's roots with songs below the 3 min mark -
It'll be interesting to hear how this album turns out as I've been told by someone who's heard the demos the band has ventured into more of a Motley Crue territory as opposed to continueing on with the melodic rock of thier debut but the songs are great..
-
I've given the album a spin and find the previousl album better. Infact I got the Japanese issue with the bonus cd which is a remake of the band's 10 best known songs? and find myself listening to it more I'd love to see Mr Big return to the sounds of the thier first two records, I feel the band hasn't invested much time on the song writing and structure on this record. It really lacking in the mozart guitar work department, apart from the one track, it just feels the band is perhaps too laid back.

CATALANO (Ex - De La Cruz) Debut EP out in November
melodicrockoz replied to DeLaCruz's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
That full track just brings back classic vintage Ratt from Ratt in a big way........... -
Thanks Doggy it'd be good to talk to ya
-
It'll be interesting to note of any bonus tracks on the Japanese pressing. Also the band will have a local Australian release so it'll be cool to see that issue get some bonus tracks too
-
Sooooooooooooo good seeing some more new aussy acts getting noted around the planet
-
Given the recent additions to the band TEN, I wonder if they are aiming to be the the first band to have the same number personel in name?

Now that sample reminded me bit of old school Ratt lets hope the rest of the tunes are as cool and rockin. -
Knock Out Kaine sign with Rocksector Records
melodicrockoz replied to Captain Howdy's topic in Sleaze Glam
Look forward to thier sophomore, hoepfully's it's just as rockin as thier awesome debut -
been a fan of Wild Rose for quite some time, the new album sounds like the bands' picked up where they left on their previous album
-
As much as I adore the first two Harem Scarem albums & am pleased the band's met their pledge target, I haven't felt keen on joining in with any of the offers. To be honest, I am not so sure the upcoming album will be anything exciting, there'll no doubt be a few good songs, maybe even an absolute gem or two. But that's been the formula Harem Scarem has utilized the past few albums. I'll no doubt end up getting the Japanese pressing.

Ditto!

An album to look forward to
