  1. That is probably someone who got scammed in the first place and is just trying to get a portion of his money back by re-selling it.
  2. deleted due to not seeing the whole story. Hope everything turned out ok.
  3. Wish I would have seen this thread a couple of months ago. Brigitte purchased about a dozen cds from me over the course of 4 weeks and has been a massive pain in the ass every step of the way. I have gone above and beyond anything any seller should have to endure to satisfy her and her insignificant requests. Ugh! This woman is fucking brutal!
  4. Thanks brothers. Will be hittin' the melodic gems once again after the new year.
  5. Ya ever heard the Freeloaders, ER? I love that album!!
  6. I just transferred my cassette. I am clueless about how to upload the tunes though. But I would have no problem sending someone a cdr that would want to upload it for you guys.
  7. Anyone ever heard of this obscure Sioux Falls, SD band? I have a cassette from them of this album from 1990. Very solid release!! Couldn't find any info on them online though. Did they release anything else?
  8. Yeah, hell. I should've looked to see which "Monday" this was referring to. Doh! This thread still got me jazzed to find his new solo disc though. Dude has cool vox, for sure.
  9. Would be cool to hear if he has any good memories of the Dareforce days [and if there is still reunion hopes?] or the Twin Cities 80's metal scene. I think he is still living back here, but have not seen him around in a few years.
  10. Back atcha with a TON of appreciation!! <<<<<JAPANESE METAL RULES!!
  11. Just my own guidelines for stuff I sell, but I think selling bootlegs is as bad as the bootleggers themselves. There is no destinction there whatsoever.
  12. Funny you posted that right after I admitted to shoplifting....
  13. What'd ya find out, DP? Still have not found anyone with a silver-press. Did not even know any label other than the band picked up that release.
  14. Well - That's 3 for 3. Pretty good assumption it was cdr-only, I guess. Still a decent platter. I much more prefer the first one though.
  15. I got this from the band's site a bunch of years ago. It is a pro-cdr. Does anyone know if this was pressed to a silver cd later on?
  16. Italy and China have absolutely corrupt postal systems. But Italian bidders are more trustworthy than the Chinese bidders. In the 10 years I have been selling on ebay, I have gotten 3 negative feedbacks, all from Chinese bidders that tried to hold me hostage and I did not go for it. Now sellers do not even have the recourse to use negative feedback for a buyer, no matter what the situation. If there was ANY kind of reasonable alternative, I would jump ship in a second.
  17. Sorry, not sure I follow...I normally do what I want, which may or may not be a good thing in all cases, but please elaborate. Maybe he is angelface. Ya know, that thought briefly crossed my mind considering the tone of the message...but then I thought nahhhh, can't be. Or can it? We may never know. shhh....party at uncle sax's tomorrow night [sat. may 10 - after 6 pm]. show up dammit! and bring some of your wife's single friends!
  18. I'm with Matt on this one. That listing is intentionally mis-leading. If you are buying the 1990 I.R.S. release, that is what you expect to receive. Not a 1999 re-issue. MM knows what they are doing. When I sell, I, at the VERY least, would list the cd as 90/99. 95% of logical human beings would understand that it is a re-issue just from that. I have never purchased anything from MM, and definately will avoid them now. That is just bad business. Plain and simple.
  19. I also saw them a million times in my youth [only on my horny nights. Can anyone say "SideWalk Sale"? Gemini had GREAT SideWalk Sales!!]. And, as far as "hair" metal goes, their music and stage show both rank fourth for me, for the era. The SDoM completely sucked, imo. And, other than the King's Machine, I really lost interest in Lance's power metal after Gemini. I love these guys getting back together around here, as is the trend. But I would give my pinky to have the old scene [both the leather AND lace scenes] just miraculously reappear. T-bone - have you ever heard of the thrash band, "Nitch"? They were comrades with Avalanch, Porcelain God, etc - the mid-90's thing. I had their disc, "Leave Me Alone" when they released it back then, lost it and forgot about the band entirely. Today I found it for a buck at Pawn America [W St P] and I was crazy happy! I thought I had re-collected all the great local stuff!!
  20. I just called ebay personally to start an investigation on this guy.
  21. Oh baby......"Mikey!!! BEND OVER BIG BOY I've got a size 13 ready to strike!!!! " LOL!!! HaHa^^^^ I cannot even start to heap the praise on whip. So, I am just not gonna. Maybe this way you vultures will stay away and I can have him all to myself?
  22. Well, if his health really is failing, he won't be able to run very fast....LET'S GET HIM!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
  23. Get Thrashed was a good start. But there was really nothing on there that any of us did not already know. I would like someone to put together a real documentary on thrash, including it's roots. Being targeted by the religious right fanatics, having to endure endless pigs busting up shows, and maybe a chapter on the slew of reunions the past few years. I mean, Faith or Fear is putting out a new album! Why and How?[more why than how] Ya know what I mean? Show me some footage of Destruction destroying some pub in Bavaria in 1985. Tell me the story of how the Emils got there crowd to beat the shit outta the neo-nazi's and drive them outta the club. Tell me where the hell John Cyris/Cyrus/Cyriis is! Who cares if it sells? PS didn't give a crap about getting a return when she did Decline 1! Rant over. I really liked "Get Thrashed". I was just hoping for any nuget that was not already common knowledge.
