Just finished 'Assassin's Quest' by Robin Hobb........Just started 'The Loch' by Steve Alten......

That and 'Something about you' are pretty much the only good songs he ever recorded... post-Attitude. Geoff, I hope u posted that prior to the release of 'Livin Out Loud' ???! IMO 'Caught In The Middle' and 'Hate To Love You' are 2 of THE best tracks this year.......awesome stuff, and whilst we are comparing him to JBJ, those 2 tracks absolutely CRUCIFY any track on 'The Circle' and then some......... and getting back on topic they also crucify ANY track on the Chris Laney debut. Cheers Backed I'll take Lima any day over Laney especially if you are talking about Lima's earlier material!!

Buy it. Worst production ever. Best songs ever. Backed 100% ! Well maybe if I can find it at a reasonable price.....

Those 2 songs are both on the new release.......as for the comparison to Affair, I can't agree at all, I don't hear much similarity and EOF are 10 times the band IMO....

I was gonna pick this one up but there's nothing I hate more than a terrible production.....

I think it was around 145 Million and it was 3rd all time opening weekend after Dark Knight and Spider Man 3. Oh God....this means we are going to get buried in soap opera vampire bullshit for years to come.... :yikes:

Fastback........The Pain of Beauty............excellent hard rocker.....recommended......

Siam......The Language of Menace......decent rocker....will need a few replays to decide how good it is....

Crossroads......Hype..........the best release from these guys IMO......still nothing fantastic but a decent hard rocker.....

Big Guns.....Bustin Out.............really wasn't expecting much but damned if this 7 song ep didn't blow me away.....many more spins will occur.....

Considering that I love most of Frontlines music I'll be most interested to hear how this new band sounds.....

I own the other 3 releases by this band but I'm not sure if I should pick up their S/T release....is it worth it..?

UP & 9.........two well done animated movies that I can highly recommend ..... Star Trek.............the best trek movie I've seen and I've seen them all.....

Personally I think apologizing for history is foolish....times change, people change, laws change, attitudes change etc... what was acceptable in the past is often not acceptable today......so we have to say we're sorry for what occurred in previous generations......ridiculous....as for those who need recognition for past indiscretions, they should be happy that those same issues are no longer happening today and get on with their lives....IMO

I have 'On The Loose' on vinyl and while I haven't heard for ages, I remember liking it a lot...not sure why I never picked up their other stuff...

Barakade.....Volume 1....probably just as well there wasn't a volume 2 as the first one isn't very good....

Poisonblack...........Lust Stained Despair...........decent goth rocker.....although I don't listen to this stuff much anymore......

Damn fine release and I like the second one as much as the first......

The samples sound pretty good so I just added this one to my 'buy list'.....

I think I'm with the majority on this......there should be one version of a CD release unless a band is re-releasing an older CD and adding some bonus material....I do like the idea of putting music on a CD that is NOT available for digital download...
