Dead Planet

Their first CD was re-released last year but only in Norway as far as I know.....I looked for it but was unable to find it at any dealer that shipped outside of Europe...... ......I'd love to pick both of them up.....

Thanks DP. I listened to a few samples and I liked the Dokkenish sound I was hearing but maybe the rest wasn't as good. But to me I heard some Dokken with some shredding guitar playing. I really need to spin it again as it wouldn't be the first release that needed several spins to hit home....

I've got the "In The Face of Danger" release and after the first listen I thought it was okay but nothing fantastic.......probably need to listen again...

Ear Infection This is so true! They always ask at the doctor's reception why you are there, and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong and sometimes it is embarrassing. There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you, in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it.. A 75-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk. The Receptionist said, 'Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?' 'There's something wrong with my dick', he replied. The receptionist became irritated and said, 'You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that. ' 'Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,' he said. The Receptionist replied; 'Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.' The man replied, 'You shouldn't ask people questions in a roomful of strangers if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered. The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes??' 'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated.. The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. 'And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?' 'I can't piss out of it,' he replied. The waiting room erupted in laughter.

One less lowlife around......the only problem is there are a shitload of them still around....

Just finished 'Assassin's Quest' by Robin Hobb........Just started 'The Loch' by Steve Alten......

That and 'Something about you' are pretty much the only good songs he ever recorded... post-Attitude. Geoff, I hope u posted that prior to the release of 'Livin Out Loud' ???! IMO 'Caught In The Middle' and 'Hate To Love You' are 2 of THE best tracks this year.......awesome stuff, and whilst we are comparing him to JBJ, those 2 tracks absolutely CRUCIFY any track on 'The Circle' and then some......... and getting back on topic they also crucify ANY track on the Chris Laney debut. Cheers Backed I'll take Lima any day over Laney especially if you are talking about Lima's earlier material!!

Buy it. Worst production ever. Best songs ever. Backed 100% ! Well maybe if I can find it at a reasonable price.....

Those 2 songs are both on the new release.......as for the comparison to Affair, I can't agree at all, I don't hear much similarity and EOF are 10 times the band IMO....

I was gonna pick this one up but there's nothing I hate more than a terrible production.....

I think it was around 145 Million and it was 3rd all time opening weekend after Dark Knight and Spider Man 3. Oh God....this means we are going to get buried in soap opera vampire bullshit for years to come.... :yikes:
