  1. I'm beginning to think they are afraid to put out new music or they are bereft of new musical ideas............
  2. I prefer 'Ridin High' & 'Attitude' to 'Cop to Con'....mainly because they are heavier and have better production IMO....
  3. The first four???? S/T, Rollin' Thunder, Stormchild, Night Of Passion or Rollin' Thunder, Stormchild, Night Of Passion, Never Say Never? I didn't ask about the S/T but then they didn't mention specific releases in their reply...here it is.... hi my friend all the old stuff will be re - released very soon! we will officially post the news in the next weeks! watch out for that! juergen madmax
  4. Alias..................Never Say Never Letter 7..............Salt of The Earth Letter 7..............Follow The Light Tango Down.......Damage Control
  5. I sent Mad Max an email the other day asking them if they were going to re-release their first 4 albums and they just answered today saying that they planned to re-release all of them shortly....
  6. I have Perris releases of 'Heroes For Sale" & "Vicious"....they are both silver pressed and come with a 6 page insert.....quite acceptable IMO....
  7. Classic album, the best of their three releases I only have boots of all 3 ...I wouldn't mind seeing a proper re-release of all 3......
  8. It doesn't surprise me......it's all about selling mags and you know they would sell a shitload even if it was only to the people who wanted to laugh at the spectacle....
  9. Van Halen.............5150 Van Halen.............For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
  10. A lot of these 70s influenced bands don't do much for me but I really like this one...nice find....
  11. I watch it as well....I really didn't think it was going to get renewed so it was a shock to suddenly see new episodes .....
  12. Cowboy Prostitutes...S/T...quite good sleazy release...their latest 'Swinging At The Fences' is better IMO....
  13. Powerman 5000....Destroy What You Enjoy...these guys are a guilty pleasure but this release is not one of their better CDs.............
  14. I love the more Melodic Metal sound they had on their first two discs but I agree the production was lacking but "Wings of Tomorrow" is better. Damnit I meant 'Wings Of Tomorrow'.......WOT needed better production as well but I agree it was better....but 'the next 3 releases are definitely their best....
  15. Tokyo Dragons............Give Me The Fear..............decent hard rock although there's not a lot of variety in the songs ............
  16. Europe............S/T...............okay but it really needs decent production much like 'Wings of destiny'..... Anxiety........If I Were........Quite good hard rock and well worth picking up IMO.....
  17. Chris Laney................Pure Gotthard....................Need To Believe Helix..........................Wild In The Streets Helix..........................No Rest For The Wicked Nasty Idols.................Boys Town Shakra.......................Everest
  18. Yup! Backed!!...I actually prefer the newer stuff to the old.....
  19. I just watched the first episode and I think it was quite good....so they probably have my interest for the season....although the storyline about the lead character and his alcoholism is already irritating me....
  20. Alibi..................Voice of Reason Halestorm..........S/T
  21. How many "Stargates" does that make now? I used to watch "SG-1" from time to time, that was pretty cool. Hey, it had MacGyver in it! That would be Stargate # 3...hopefully this one will be just as good as the first two....they've even shanghaied Lou Diamond Phillips for this one...Lou isn't stretching himself too far here as he's playing a 'military' guy..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Universe
  22. It appears ASCAP is well named since they are obviously using their asses for caps.......
  23. I only have the Euro release on that but damn that thing rocks with Bolin kicking ass throughout and Coverdale and Hughes sounding great as usual. Yep it's one of my favorites by the band......also it's the second release that I picked up from DP after the incredible 'Made in Japan"...........
  24. Presently reading "Assassin's Apprentice" by Robin Hobb......this is my first exposure to Hobb and I can say that she is very good.....if you like authors like Raymond Feist you'll like her as well.....
