Dead Planet

Check ther Newman website, all the discs are avaliable there for a reasonable price. Maybe for you Brits, but sadly not us foreigners. Like Dead Planet, I'm missing those two CDs from my collection and the ever-elusive debut which I've been after forever. Agreed....I forgot about their debut....I still need that one as well....I emailed Newman about their first release and they said they were planning on re-releasing it but that was a while ago....

Shooting Star.....Hang on For Your Life

Backed on both although I have played that SM quite a bit over the years. The DT just threw me for a loop on first listen and I did give it multiple chances but it never really could grow on me. Love 'Violent New Breed' , it still gets regular airplay from me.....and once again in the minority, I really liked the DT release when it came out, it was completely different from anything I'd heard before although I rarely listen to it today....

I'll pick this one up .......I'm still looking for their last 2, 'Decade' and Primitive Soul' but I haven't seen them reasonably priced and for some reason they're rarely on eBay....

I don't own anything by this band and considering the love for them on HH maybe I should rectify that.......so I'll be interested to see what the best releases are so I'll know what to pick up....

His solo stuff is tops for me....I wasn't impressed with Van Hagar....I just finished replacing my vinyl of his 6 releases from 79-87.....his later solo stuff sucks (at least what I've heard) and I haven't heard the 4 releases he put out before 79.....

My 2 favs are Cultosauraus Erectus and Fire of Unknown Origin...but their older stuff is pretty good as well.....

Oh my god that's almost as bad as having posters of Celine Dion in your bedroom......

I really wish the moron would just disappear.....the guys an embarrassment .....unfortunately as long as there are people willing to go to his concerts we'll have to hear more pathetic outbursts....

Back after a decade of silence is the best Portuguese Metal band of all time, finally ready to break charts and hearts again, with their third full-lenght album. 'REDEMPTION' released on Recital Records! Redemption was recorded in UltraSound Studios by Daniel Cardoso (Head Control System, Oblique Rain) and Ricardo Dias, and mixed & mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Soilwork, Amon Amarth) at Fascination Street Studios, in Sweden. The album features all melodic and catchy Heavenwood trades plus a new energy and experience. The recording is still rounded by special guest appearances (Firewind's Gus G, Oceans Of Sadness' Tijs Vanneste and Annihilator's Jeff Waters) who not only underline but also sublime Heavenwood's trademark of Gothic and Dark Metal.
