  1. Two new ones I've heard about are The Firm, might be okay although legal dramas are not my thing and Alcatraz that looks really promising...
  2. It's pretty good, although there was some silly stuff and bad effects especially in the 1st season but it has improved every season...
  3. The Hangover...one of the funniest movies I've ever seen...and this is from someone who considers 99% of comedies to be pure crap... Green Hornet...not bad although Seth Rogen does get on my nerves Season of the Witch...pretty good but not something I'd watch again very soon...
  4. 2 things: How's your health? & Honey roasted or salted? Barbequed....
  5. This is just the beginning...the rich and powerful will do anything to protect their money and influence...the question is how long will the majority of us continue to take it in the ass...
  6. Happy holidays and best wishes to one and all....
  7. I don't give a shit what happens...once I'm dead I expect the cds will be sold for peanuts...
  8. I like that song too...I will be checking out the cd in January...nice find...
  9. Fergie Frederiksen - Happiness Is The Road Toby Hitchcock - Mercury Down Kidd Glove - s/t The Magnificent - s/t Sahara Rain - Eternity Warp Drive - Something To Believe In Work Of Art - In Progress
  10. Kung Fu Panda...enjoyable animated movie Wall-E...wonderful animated flick Get Smart...I wasn't expecting much from this after the horrible Pink Panther revival by Steve martin but Steve Carrell does a much better job and he has a capable cast around him...so it was worth 90 minutes of my time...
  11. You don't have to say it...I'll say it for you. Wes, if you rated 'Enough Rope' as 100%, I wonder how high 'No Respect' is if you say it isn't equal or better? is it 150% ? I actually said "I normally don't give scores but if I had to this one would be somewhere close to 10/10 or 100% but maybe just barely under that." But since you asked yes 'No Respect' is more like 150% or maybe even higher. Seriously though the new one is great but it's not No Respect. I've had 22 years with that album and it's a desert island disc for me and has been pretty much since 1989. I can't explain it just is just one of the great hard rock/sleaze rock/metal albums of all time for me. As usual, I'm going to be a loner on this, but I couldn't wait to get rid of 'No Respect' when I finally bought it. I thought the first track was awful, but 'Beat the Bullet' is cool, so I was expecting more treasures to follow, but hated pretty much every track. Personally, I like really dirty, sleazy glam like Tigertailz, Faster Pussycat etc and despise the punky stuff. Everything I've heard by Vain is very punky. You'd think I liked being Billy No Mates, wouldn't you? You're not the only one who considers Vain overrated...I think No Respect has a few decent songs on it but it rarely gets played by me, as for "Move on it" & "Fade", awful is the best description...I have stayed away from the other 2 releases Vain put out but I will admit to liking the samples for "Enough Rope" and I plan to give it a chance...
  12. Another nice one...I hope I have better luck finding this one at a reasonable price, the KC release is rather pricey on eBay...
  13. One Eyed Monster....definitely worth a look for the first half laughs although the laughs were few and far between in the 2nd half...
  14. DĀ“Ercole - The Art of Self Destruction Dynazty - Knock you down Serpentine - A Touch of Heaven Stone Lake - Uncharted Souls
  15. I really enjoyed their 1st 2 releases so it'll be interesting to hear what they come up with but it is definitely a situation of listening before buying considering how long it has been since those 1st 2 CDs came out...
  16. I haven't missed an episode and while I enjoy the show I wouldn't miss it if it disappeared....
  17. Glitterati...Are You One Of Us? Seventh Seal...Messengers of Love
  18. I put this release on my pickup list a few weeks ago after hearing some samples that I thought were quite good...normally I treat music called "progressive" like I would herpes but I plan to take my chances...although I'm considering a condom...
  19. David Mark Pearce...Strange Angels Angelheart...Caution It Rocks! Angelheart...Whoa! Private Angel...Selling Off Time in Wonderland Myland...Light of a New Day
  20. Never heard of B-Joe before actually, but I trust your opinion that it's shit so I won't bother lol well this Daytona thing sounds like a must-buy gem, okay I'll put them in my wishlist and hope it comes up on eBay pretty cheap Mate, before you go ahead and buy everything Daytona ever released, I have breaking news. They suck. I kid. But keep this in mind. Here's my break up for 'Trilogy' ; 'Best Of' ; really great melodic rock AOR CD. But I don't know when these songs were released and where, as this "compilation" is from 1993 (according to HH main pages) 'Point of View' ; good album. More acoustic orientated rather than the keys of the best of, which isn't a bad thing... but the songs are also not as strong as on the best of. Still, and good and solid enough album. From 1996 apparently. 'Who is Xooly' ; now this one sucks. Really bad album. Reminds of like when the band Number Nine suddenly made some weird totally non-rock CD for their 3rd effort. There are one or 2 okay ballads and the killer 'Wild World,' which is back to their old keyboard driven AOR style (and is also on the best of). But aside from that it's awful. So there you have it. I saw on the comments page of the site that people compare them to Dominoe, which is dead on in the case of the first album. I got this for something like $5 so it was extremely worth it, for the best of alone... but beware not to spend too much on it because it's not all perfect. I read somewhere that their first release "Best of" is actually their 1st release...someone in the band thought it funny to name it Best of....
  21. I liked the V album as well and I'm looking forward to the new release...
  22. Holy fucking hell, this is GREAT!!! No one could tell me this? I would have... if I beleived it. Enjoy it, mate. Real nice... you don't like it that much I take it? Nah mate, sadly not a fan of Skin at all. Solid-ish, but just not much happening on those discs for me, sadly. Why do you think it is called "Good Time For Losers" ?!?! I may be a loser for being a stupid enough deadshit c*nt to buy this c*nty, c*nty piece of shit, but no-one had a good time. Except maybe this B-Joe guy, knowing someone had wasted their hard earned money of this c*nt of a thing. I really hate it sooooo much. C*nts. I'm amazed they weren't giving this one away for free, I was very interested when I heard this CD was coming out...then I heard the samples
  23. Haha, creep. You must have got the last one. ...yeah when I saw this sale I didn't hesitate to get my order in as I was concerned about how many of the Magness and Deluca CDs would be available, both are hard to pick up at reasonable prices...
