The unfortunate truth. We're far from perfect up here, but you guys are welcome in Canada. ;} Too cold. I'm looking for warmer weather..... not colder! Pretty sure it's not much different from Maryland. Actually, we only had one or two days of snow last winter, here on the West coast. But, I hear ya. If I was planning on moving it would be to a warmer climate. You guys can have the heat....the Toronto area has been damned hot this summer and I hate it....definitely moving back to Nova Scotia next spring ....

Haha mate, I think you're in the vast minority with the English vocals thing. I'd say 98% of overall music listeners would probably be with me on that one. They don't call it pointless for nothing. Anyway, thanks and glad you enjoyed the lists. They are what they are - nothing more, nothing less. I'm definitely not selling tickets to them as the be all and end all summary of those pre-1984 years. And don't worry, there will be no modern rock lists. Lucky for you, the modern rock titles will just be included in and amidst my best of lists from 2000 onwards, so you'll have the pleasure of trying to weed out the modern stuff. When I ever get to that point... I'm one of the idiots who agrees with Geoff when it comes to 'non-english vox' ... as for pre-1984 music, as much as I loved a lot of that music when it came out....I rarely listen to any of it today so I can understand Geoff not being interested in it... I rarely listen to anything outside of 2016 but that's not the point is it. There is a wealth of classic albums prior to 1984.............many with very excellent production............but to each their own. As for non-English vox - yeah count me out - no point imo. My point is that the pre-1984 releases are considerably different (dated) compared to everything released in this century....that doesn't mean there are not excellent releases from that time but to most people who did not grow up listening to them, they are not all that interesting today....

Clinton is a liar and so is Trump....I have never heard of a politician who wasn't a liar so I don't understand why it is even a topic of conversation...the concern from afar is that trump appears to be a wacko and a racist....not someone who should have control of the most influential and powerful nation on earth....

I picked this cd up several years ago and just got around to spinning it today....it is the only Asia release I own .... I was expecting a lot of crappy pop music but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it actually rocks quite nicely....so I have to ask the forum a few questions...is this release an anomaly? Are all their releases like this? What others should I consider picking up? Cheers and thanks....

I was about to agree with Geoff and then I listened to the new song and it is actually quite decent....still the previous release was underwhelming so I'm hesitant about this one...

I didn't even bother to pick it up...the samples did not impress....can't see me getting this one either but I'll give samples a listen...it would not be the first time that I was wrong about a band and had to go looking for previous releases...lol.
