  1. Overlord (2018) - pretty good WWII action flick, check it out if you have the chance...
  2. Dead Planet

    NFL 2018

Another ring for Brady....it was a rather boring game though but I was hoping for the Patriots since the Rams shouldn't have been there anyway....
  3. Well I came across a few that I missed out on over the year... Meliah Rage Kobra & The Lotus Dream Child But the biggest miss was ..... Lesbian Bed Death....and no I'm not joking, sounds great and I now need to track down their older releases as well as the latest....can't find a thread on them so here is a song from their latest...
  4. hurry with the best of 2018 , a cure for insomnia is needed asap....lol
  5. Not bad at all.....may have to consider picking this up.....
  6. Robin Hood (2018) - completely unnecessary re-imagining of RH...the story has been done to death IMO so they took a lot of liberties with the storyline to try to make something new and they failed miserably.....that said, take it as an adventure flick and ignore the RH parts and it is watchable....
  7. Mortal Engines (2018) - I can understand why this bombed in the theaters, the writing and directing wasn't very good but the CGI was great...I have a feeling they left too much of the film on the cutting room floor so that they could keep the movie to 2 hours in length....probably would have been better using the source material for a tv series instead of trying to squeeze it into a 2 hour film...I still enjoyed the flick but then I'm a sucker for scifi....
  8. Nothing to be sorry about, 10 years back I had no issue with the vocals either but tastes change over time....
  9. Yeah shame they changed their music to be an AC//DC clone band...that said the songs are okay....
  10. The reason I like it is that it doesn't have growling vocals...I like a lot of the melodeath music but get turned off by the vocals...Children of Bodom have a new release coming out and the music is great but I won't be getting it because of the vocals...
  11. Agree completely, loved the film and prefer the one offs to the latest trilogy....
  12. Bumblebee (2018) - another transformer film....entertaining like the rest of the series although there is much less action in this one compared to the previous flicks...still worth watching though...
  13. Dead Planet

    NFL 2018

Big difference between players screwing up and the refs missing calls...from what I could see the Chiefs should have been called on pass interference several times....that said I have no favorites playing either...just want to see games where the players are responsible for winning or losing...

Well it should have been Patriots and Saints in the Superbowl but the refs were playing for the Rams.....anyway Patriots should win it all assuming the same refs aren't officiating...
  15. I don't think cds will disappear anytime soon but they will become harder to find as I suspect eventually only the well known bands will release in cd form....who would have thought that vinyl would still be around after all these years...the majority of people on this forum, many who avidly collect cds, don't bother with vinyl and yet we still see vinyl releases...I expect that I will have to bite the bullet and start picking up releases in digital form in a few years as that will be the only way to get the music I want but it will be a sad day for me...
  16. Check the metal section and you'll see the stuff I'm posting...
  17. A gimme pickup for one of the most consistent metal bands around...
  18. Maybe in a few years...my tastes change over time but these days I prefer my music on the heavier side of things...
  19. The Skull - Endless Road Turns Dark Morgana Lefay - Aberrations Of The Mind Powergod - Bleed For The Gods Power Crue - Wreck Eternal Tyranny Mob Rules - Radical Peace Morifade - Empire Of Souls Morifade - Domination
